Today I received the wellfire aps sr2 sniper set I ordered last week. I love the rifle but the magazine seems very cheap and difficult to load. Anyone have experience with this gun and any swap out solutions? I did a forum search but no luck so far. Thanks

Unfortunately they are very cheaply made. I reccomend you sell it for whatever you can get for it and spend your money on an entry level AEG that is decently made, like a JG. A bolt action rifle in airsoft is useless without a lot of upgrades, because they have the same (or less) accuracy and range as a basic AEG, but have considerably slower ROF (bolt) and magazine capacity. I would not reccomend dropping several hundreds of dollars worth of upgrades in the SWS you have (that's what's necessary to make it worthwhile), because as you noted it is poorly made. I've seen that model's stock/buffer tube assembly snap right off in the middle of a game.

Well that's depressing lol. I may keep it for backyard plinking with the kids. I have a couple decent AEGs already. The M58A shotgun that came with thepackage is pretty nice though. Thanks for the advise Dom.

Honestly if you wanted to try the sniper route, JG Bar-10 and UTG L96 are great starting rifles. They are a lower price and are very compatible with upgrades.

The L96 is a great looking weapon system. In fact, I may go that route. Definitely would have to sell the SR-2 first or the wife would have my head on a pike. I think I solved the feeding issue for now. A little superglue and playing with the spring tip allows me to load and fire 10 rounds max consistantly. I think Mr. Murphy was working in the shipping dept that day and sent me a bad magazine.
