KWA 2GX gearbox+Madbull DD reciever or any other?

Thunderbunny again with another Q. Can you drop KWA's 2GX gearbox into a Madbull receiver?
My educated guess:
No, you can't fit the 2GX gearbox in without mods because of the reinforcements KWA has implemented into their gearboxes.
Please tell me if I am right or wrong, and what you would shave down the receiver or the gearbox.
