1) First-off, should I even try upgrading the gun to the above Guide, is it worth it?
2) Should I upgrade the motor, for faster trigger response?
3) Instead of buying new motor, should I get a new gun (the same m14), and send back the old with the warranty?
Thanks guys for any suggestions, advice, opinions, or help you have to provide!
*edit Follow up questions: If I send back for warranty, do you think I will get my new one in time for AOSC Game for October 25th?
If I decided to upgrade the motor, where should I buy the parts from (also where to buy future upgrade parts)?

Airsoft Megastore and CYMA Introduce the NEW VPower Series AEGs:
CYMA’s NEW VPower Series AEGs, available exclusively at Airsoft Megastore, feature a higher muzzle velocity (above 390 FPS w/ 0.20g BBs) than standard CYMA AEGs making them ideal for outdoor airsoft fields. CYMA revisited their highly regarded M14 and AK airsoft gun lines, adding M120 springs into each gearbox and maximizing their muzzle velocity. These upgraded CYMA VPower AEGs are identical in price and appearance to their original counterparts, and are ONLY available at Airsoft Megastore!
Our take: The CYMA M14 Airsoft AEG Rifle features full metal externals combined with a textured black body. Pre-installed with an M120 gearbox spring, this rifle is firing just at 400 FPS and is perfect for any field airsoft game. Internally, this CYMA AEG has a reinforced Version 7 gearbox and a 545mm tightbore inner barrel.
