Repairing a Motor

Recently I had issues with my M16. Turns out, the motor was getting pretty weak. It's one of those deviljet motors. Long type. Is there any way to fix it? It works pulling a smaller spring but it won't turn anything else. I currently have a JG blue in my M16 but the ROF is nothing compared to what I was getting with the deviljet.

What would it take to fix it?
How would I go about fixing it?
Are there guides for fixing them?
Would I be better off dropping about 100 on a new one?

Check the brushes, they may be worn all the way down.

Why on earth would you ever spend $100 on a motor for an AEG?

It's the best performing motor I've ever used. What would you recommend for a high speed motor?
