I put this link on here to show that a rail system can be put on a Thompson and it does look sexy.

Thats looks pretty good.

Off topic though, would I really want a swat team coming into the building I am held hostage in with a weapon notorious for not staying on target? Heellll Nah.

Well im fairly certain that they improved upon that besides they wont be shooting 20's gangster style from the hip. You saw the video where he actually shoulders it. I would be glad for a team to be saving me from baddies with that beast  8)

Tacticool Thompson = poor replacement for a Kriss .45. I will say that is one of the better hacked up Thompsonsteins I've seen, but I still stand by my 10 commandments.

The Kriss also has something called easily controlled muzzle climb. ;)

Maybe that's why I don't like seeing Thompsons with all kinds of modern crap on them... they have so much character and history WITHOUT red dots, suppressors, and rails glued on.

Hotspur make it tacti-cool 8) I am going to try and find pictures of other airsoft thompsons that were modernized. I know I have seen a couple in the for sale section in other forums.  Can't wait to see yours when your done.

.            Sweet that will be a huge help! I know that right now my biggest challenge is going to be deciding how I want to modernize. As of now I can think of two ways but not sure which to go with :/. But if you find some pics that would be an amazing baseline for me to get started from!

The fact that nobody really makes accessories for Thompsons should be noted.

True, however an M4 rail system, dremeling, and basic shop knowledge could result some finely crafted work.

Do SWAT teams use the Kriss? I usually see MP5s and M4s. The Kriss was chosen as the best CQB weapon on the Top Tens show on the Military channel, though.

That thing is pretty awesome.

I still think that throwing a wooden block cut in the shape of a parallelogram is better weapon  ;D but the thing about no thompson accessories still makes this endeavor a project. I know i can come out on top though with enough feed back from you guys and the right tools i can this really pulling through  ;D

I know that the Lexington County Sheriff's Department does not. I'm not very familiar with Richland County Sheriff's Department, but I know they use P90s.
