Now I know why you always bring way too much stuff for one person.

I saw you using that JG AK/RPK at Steel Griffin, I wondered what brand it was, and good armory.

Finally, somebody with more guns than me. I still wish I hadn't sold my old VFC:
There's no kill switch on awesome!

Re: Smitty's Armory
@SteevoLS - Sorry that I have it and you don't, but I've never sold a gun.
Nothing inside that RPK is JG, any longer, except for some parts such as the tappet plate and the selector switch. TM EG1000 motor, TM steel gear set, G&G reinforced gearbox, Systema piston,Systema cylinder, Systema spring guide, Madbull M130 spring (chronoed 398 w/ 0.25s @ SGC), G&G hopup, "SteevoFet", and a couple other minor upgrades.
I use a 7.4 V lipo in that gun. I've taken some practice shots with an 11.1 V lipo, but the drum mag can't feed that fast! Besides, the ROF on this is great for a support role (as many who have been at the other end can say - anybody remember Ninja's game with the Hummer last year? - there was a situation at the airfield).
Well, it STARTED as a JG AK-47 (like the one on the gun rack). There was a game not too long ago where you couldn't use a drum mag unless you had a "support gun." I found a broken SRC RPK and slapped the front end on my AK, getting a madbull TBB to run through it (it stops inside the flashhider). Anybody who is in airsoft knows that a game rep can't tell me that I didn't take an RPK and put an AK rear end on it, so I figured that would let me use this as a dedicated support gun.marpat96 wrote:I saw you using that JG AK/RPK at Steel Griffin, I wondered what brand it was, and good armory.

Wow, good job on that RPK. It sets you aside from all the Cyma/Echo1 and SRC RPK guys, I wonder if I could make my AK-47 CM046 into an RPK, and keep the pneumatic blowback? Project time!

True, but good enough for airsoft.SteevoLS wrote:No RPK receiver = not an RPK
I didn't mean to make it seem like it's actually an RPK. I put the front end on there for a specific game, and then just liked how it looked, overall - so I kept it that way.

Smitty, the first step to getting help is admitting you have a problem.

And you have a problem.
Give me all your shotties, then you will be okay.

I do not always accidentally, but when I do, I accidentally the whole thing.

Risking a necropost to say that I love that first Kalashnikov from the top on your rightmost rack. Also, that M4 with an MOE handguard and nothing but a foregrip on it both looks great and reminds me of my M16. <3
Re: Smitty's Armory
I remember the Magpul'd M4. If I wouldn't have been going through a divorce at the time I would have never sold that one to you lol. Oh well I now have a nice collection of RS and even a Magpul'd out AR. I am getting back into air soft so my collection is starting to grow again. Nice collection Smitty.,
