Haha, DW, with that setup your handguards would fall off every time you picked the gun up. The gas-block is all that holds the handguards onto the gun.

Nice other than that, although I would lose the bipod if I were you. They're really unnecessary on a M4.

So you need to get a SMART bipod...because they look BEAST on a M4

There's a reason that you rarely see bipods on M4's in real life.

Never utter the word beast again. Thank you.

Fair enough. Find me a picture of a real soldier using an M4 with a bipod. Grip-pods and M16's don't count. I'm sure someone somewhere has done it, but I have yet to see it.

Well DW, for $63 shipped you can get Magpul MOE handguards, a CTR stock, and a MIAD grip.

That, gentlemen, is the Omnicol XA-23 (or something like that).  It's been around about as long as I've been playing airsoft.  It was a custom project made by some genius flecktarn addict.  He took a Fa-Mas, G36, and P90 and a TON of clay and plasticard material to build something he said was inspired by Ghost in the Shell.  It's the only one, but unfortunately the performance has much to be desired.  At this point it's not much more than a showpiece because the overall rigidity is pretty terrible.  Because the Fa-mas trigger in the GB pulls and the P90 trigger pushes on the trigger lead he had to rig some crazy remote switch in there, and he also lost semi-auto capability due to this.
The AR charging handle you see is non functional, it's just glued into the base of that MP5/G3 rear sight.  In more recent pictures, he actually replaced the foregrip with a very moldable clay material, but the original look (pictured above) looks more professional in my opinion.

Of course, reading the page about how he built it would have told you that, I'm just going off of memory.  If you look REALLY hard on SCAA you can see where I was thinking about trying to build one, waaayyy back when I wasn't savvy to how much work goes into a project like that.

He coulda just gotten a JLS F2000 :P

Nah.. it looks cool because it almost flows together if you didn't know much about weapons... but with so many different parts it's sorta distracting
