Re: Latest Acquisition
I've been tempted to sell a few guns and use that money to pay for a Classic Army G3, but I hear bad things about the stock breaking and about quality issues. I'd love for a company like G&G to make a quality G3....

Re: Latest Acquisition
The stock easily falls apart and the body is cast of very cheap pot metal. By the time I got rid of it, the mag well had pretty much broken off piece by piece. However it was alot of fun to play with the full metal charging handle and HK slapping it.Esteban wrote: I've been tempted to sell a few guns and use that money to pay for a Classic Army G3, but I hear bad things about the stock breaking and about quality issues. Re: Latest Acquisition
Well I might as well post an early Christmas present I received the other day...
WE Luger P08 4"

Naturally, I had to do the weapon justice. Here is the Luger after my "restoration" job.

That will be at OP Phantom Hawk...you know it will. It might not make the trip home with you, but we're not mentioning that.

Re: Latest Acquisition
We'll see lol. It doesn't like the cold too much and I'll need some new mags because the current one will either work fine, or randomly spit out the gas. I have done a couple mods to the magazine to make it more reliable, but more work is needed. Also a new plunger set is needed for the hopup (pretty much the same thing as a nub). I have fabricated one myself and am able to pull off 200' torso shots, so just a little more tweaking will be needed before I'll give up and buy the $30 plunger.

Re: Latest Acquisition
Those are some sexy additions, I like the weathering detail. Are you going to weather the 98 as well?

Re: Latest Acquisition
My friend has one of those preban Kar98ks. He doesn't play airsoft, but it is an effective defense from squirrels. Oh, and only morans buy Lugers.
