I just think it was an awesome idea.

I like the second one better, so obviously it's the better choice. :P

Think of it this way though....
The second one is just your normal AK74...which means, due to my nature, I would have to do something horribly disgusting to it to make it different. If I get the first one, I wouldn't have to make it look different because it already does.

Bet you think I should get the first one now, doncha? ;D

Here's an idea, Trevor... get the wood 74 and weather it! That lets you make it different, but also gives you some serious class. ;)

That's too much like something a "normal person" would do :P

Or you could get the first one and weather it like Steevo said plus put on a scope mount with an Aimpoint M2 or an EOtech... ;D

This would be PERFECT for me. I plan to do this adding one new part at a time over a long period.

You'll probably want a high-rise mount for that T1. It sits too low for a good (comfortable) cheek weld in that setup.

It came with an LE stock. That's a CAR-15 stock. I thought about getting a MOE or CTR stock, but I decided a CAR 15 would be good for me. Plus I already have one, so I didn't have to buy one.

I should get a rail to put on top of my carry handle for the T1.
