Wow, I guess make sure you get close! What is the FPS? I assume the inner barrel runs to the end?

I'm a danger close kind of guy, have more total kills on this gun than any other gun I own. ( before this mod of course). The fps isn't great, but it should improve once I get a real bucking (evike didn't send the bucking with the hop up despite what the website said.) Currently using heat shrink, which works great to seal the barrel, but the hop is another story. It basically has no hop so the rounds don't get all that far, but like I said, danger close. Effective range is about 40 yards.

I've been playing the same way most of the time for the last year or so. It's more interesting IMO.

first concept art for the full length beauty i'm building. not super elegant, but it is just the starter. only will cost roughly $30, so i can manage it.

Is your upper receiver metal or plastic? If it is plastic, that looks like you will get a lot of barrel flex any time you are shooting from a supported position (leaning the barrel on a tree, window sill, etc).

the receiver is plastic but the barrel is also and is actually surprisingly light. so far shoots just fine, a lot better than the stubby. going to put a bigger spring in her eventually, just need to do some numbers to make sure i stay under the fps limit and that the gearbox and power supply can handle it.
*edit* also going to add a freefloat RIS front assembly when the money becomes available. */edit*
