Re: AR thread
Just curious why you replaced a G2 bucking in the M4 with a Guarder?

Re: AR thread
I already ripped my 2G taking it out to lube it up. KWA didn't put any lube on the outside of the inner barrel and the outside of the bucking, so it ripped when I took it out.
I have two more 2G buckings in the mail coming tomorrow. One will go in later after I test out my guarder to see if it's actually any good.
I have always had awful luck with buckings.... I plan on slathering my new 2Gs with silicone and then putting them on the barrel and into the hopup unit.

Re: AR thread
Ah, that makes sense. Yeah, it's a good idea to use 100% silicon lube on the barrel and outside of the bucking so that the bucking slides onto the barrel, and then the chamber slides onto the bucking, then remove the 'arm' of the chamber, insert the nub, and attach the remainder of the accoutrements. Afterward, thoroughly clean the barrel first with silicon, then with a dry peice until the cloth/paper towel comes out clean and dry. You don't want to leave lube on the inside of the bucking where it contacts the BB, or it won't work until it is dry. Hopup is entirely reliant on friction after all.

Haha, I did all of what you said with my second bucking before I ever read this. Thanks though!Dominum wrote: Ah, that makes sense. Better bring it to DS4, so you can kill some Bravos with me
Re: AR thread
Oh I'll have it there, the SAW will get most of the use that day, but I may use the M4 for a while after lunch.Vesper wrote: Better bring it to DS4, so you can kill some Bravos with me
Don't worry, between the SAW and your M4, we'll do plenty of damage
