I guess the AK in the middle of the pic is invisible to everyone else.

Sorry, I just looked at it again and there does in fact appear to be an AK there.

Almost done.

Todo this week:
- Install egyptian surplus AKM front sight and slant brake
- Convert mounting area on real stock to fit on airsoft stock mount
- Modify bolt for full travel, add bolt catch

The stock and handguards are done. Modifying the stock took about 2 hours with a drill press, chisel, dremel, and a lot of profane silence. It's solid as a rock, though, and feels more like a RealSword than a CYMA.

Now that you are hopefully done with the profanity, do you think you caould mod that grip to hold the motor? All of the not-wood parts are too... new.

Yeah, it's nice, but not...complete (in humble and worthless opinion)

Much like real M4s/similar, the grip on a real AK is a lot thinner than a standard AEG motor. There is no good way to get a bakelite grip on the gun other than to buy a airsoft-specific bakelite grip. I think LCT makes one, but I'm not going to shell out for it.

Trust me, it won't take long for the rest of the gun to match the furniture.

No way to mod the grip as in staining or something?
