Looking good.  The only G3 variant I've ever owned was a TM PSG-1 way back in '06, but I've liked them ever since.

I just got 50 ft. of black paracord. The possibilities are endless! I've made some handcuffs with a handcuff knot, and made a bracelet, so far.

I honestly use it more than my KWA M4. I like the way it feels, but I'd love to upgrade it and then move the parts to the same G3 made by Classic Army.

It's still a work in progress, but I have multiple ways to change it around based on how I want it to look that day.

Get them smaller than you think you need. My Tan ones ran bigger than i thought.

Looking good.  Any plans for the AK?  I personally like them stock looking on the outside, but there's always something to upgrade internally.  I hear that the hopup in those are pretty good, can you provide any feedback about that?

I had originally intended to order a stamped steel body and wood kit as soon as I got the gun, but I've changed my mind. The nylon body is rock solid as it is, and the rubberized furniture is a nice touch aswell. The only things I really intend to do now are...

- GP30 grenade launcher if I find one for a decent price
- Some sort of rail for an optic. I want to keep it low key and not overtly tacticool. I'll either replace the rear sight with a short rail (King Arms makes one), or bolt a chunk of rail to the dust cover and bondo up the edges. The end result would look a lot like the GALIL dust covers with RIS. If this were a GBBR I wouldn't even think about mounting an optic on a dust cover, but the lack of recoil and the relatively tight fit should negate any problems with not holding its zero.

As far as the internals go, I'm going to leave that stock aswell. It chronos around 300 with a .25, and has excellent range and groupings. The only thing that is not stock inside is a KWA 2GX bucking installed by the original owner. Therefore I can't comment on the hopup bucking, but the hopup chamber itself has a solid adjustment arm and seems to hold it's position very well.

Were you told it has a 2GX bucking? When I traded it with BigMan, I told him that I tried to fit one into the hopup chamber, but the fins didn't go down into the barrel like they should, so I put the original G&G bucking back into it. So when I gave traded it with BigMan, the gun had the G&G bucking in it.

The thing shot great with it, so I didn't count it as a loss to not be able to fit that bucking in.

Also...

You could try some of these rails...
