I love the Corps for those intangible possessions that cannot be issued: pride, honor, integrity, and being able to carry on the traditions for generations of warriors past. [Cpl. Jeff Sornig, USMC; in Navy Times, November 1994]

Man I was so looking forword to this game, and now I am not going to be able to come to it. May be I can make it to the next game though.
It is not the camo, or the gun that make a good player. its the skill, and team work from the man behind those things.

Re: Dec 18th Strategies of War @ RedFox
Everybody who comes to this game needs to be aware of the weather. The high for saturday is looking to be in the low 40s. Now, when you are playing airsoft, 40 degrees is no big deal, however:
lows 40s weather combined with a chance of rain (30% right now, who knows how it will be on saturday) does bring in a real chance of hypothermia if you are not prepared for it (as many of us southerners are not!). Any water-resistant clothing you have is certainly a sensible precaution.
Keep an eye on your teammates, move around if you start to shiver, and avoid laying prone in wet areas. It's better to give away your position and get shot than it is to leave the field on a stretcher wrapped in a blanket
EDIT: well, the weather forcast has gone up by at least 8 degrees since I posted this...it's still an issue, but not as serious, I guess
In short: Don't lay in puddles. I don't know what's wrong with you, always thinking that you have to be all wet to set up a good ambush. You don't.

Hey Green, just to clear up a little confusion for us. Your ad states field fee of $25 but then a few lines below that it states field fee of $20, which is correct? I am hoping to make this one. Oh yeah, one more question-is this considered a CQB field or regular field?
Thanks
Thanks

And this is a regular field but some battles get REALLY close and personal especially inside buildings. So field weapons are good to go but watch engagment distances they will be enforced. I recommend bringing a side arm for those up and close battles.

Wear a coat or sweater under your fatigues, and maybe some long johns and extra socks. Gloves and shemaghs will keep your extremeties from getting too cold.

I certainly recommend layers especially for the morning time, its a good idea to wear something to cover your ears like a beenie or shemagh as dom said. Hand warmers work well too, they are $1-$2 everywhere.Dominum wrote: Wear a coat or sweater under your fatigues, and maybe some long johns and extra socks.
