I have seen videos of ones with the same specs as mine go through interior doors. Granted, that's not going through a solid board, but I am willing to bet money that that means it can crack a rib, or at least knock someones eyepro far away from them, knock them unconscious, hit something hard (like an AEG) that is in front of them and shove it into their face fracturing something, or knock them off balance enough to fall out if they are standing up behind the cab. Now, if you are willing to prove me wrong on this serious safety matter by testing this yourself, feel free to do so. Until then, we are not going to put players at serious medical risk for your convenience. Sorry you do not agree, but I think that our obligation to protect players from serious harm trumps our obligation to make the rule set to your liking.
Since I've been playing either scenario Pball or airsoft since 1984, longer than most airsoft players have been alive, yes, I've taken shots from both homebuilt cannons/launchers and bought/manufactured products, such as the Blackpoint Engineering and RAP4 rocket launchers on a number of occasions over the many years.  I even know one guy ("Dragon", from SEA/Team Duck) who seemed to like and specifically asked us to shoot him in the nuts repeatedly with one.  While I would never request that level of, ahem, enjoyment, I will certainly take one from my own (MKS) launcher as a safety demonstration pre-game, as I would never use something on others that I would not be willing to use on myself.  You can shoot me with it personally.

That said, I understand and commend your commitment to safety over all else, and respect your decision on the matter. These are meant to be shot at inanimate objects, not deliberately fired at personnel for much the same reason.

Thank you for the lengthy and detailed response. As with Thrush, sounds like a plan to me, looking forward to the event.

I may have some good news that will make everyone happy, first is that the technical is being armored, and the second is that I am calling John to try to convince him to add plexiglass to the HMMWV and allow us to shoot at it, as the only reason we are not allowed to is that the last time we did the windshield and windows were cracked.

What this means is that, if I can get him to do so, all vehicles will be in the armored category, and we may be able to use a ruleset closer to what you posted earlier from Fulda, assuming exposed turret gunners give their consent to having the vehicle beneath them shot at by Nerfs.

So, for now assume we are going with what I posted earlier, but know that I am making an effort to change the vehicles so we can use the simpler Fulda rule set.

Can we have it where if the turret gunner is shot, he's down? It was annoying shooting the gunner multiple times and then have him just wipe us out at 24 II

Being one who wishes to be a turret gunner multiple times, I do not have a problem with this ( the calling hits on the gunner OR the wiping out vast amounts of players).  Could we make it so that it comes back every two minutes after getting hit so we don't have to confusion of "are their live players healing him inside?"

That being said, the humvee is supposed to shake things up.  I am sure that it will be given to the team that has fewer points to make the game as close as possible.  The turrett gunner is SUPPOSED to kill you all, it's SUPPOSED to be a strong presence that is much harder to kill than regular players.

Think of it like a blue shell:

We would also be fine with this, as well as having nerfs fired at vehicles with partially exposed turret gunners.  The GA vehicles already have or are in process of installing partial shielding for such positions presently (mostly chickenplate) to mitigate any remaining risk.

Greetings from Atlanta.  Registered just to say I am really looking forward to this game, and I know a lot of people that are going from the atlanta area ( teamairsoft, SS, and airdog).  Can't wait to put a whoopin' on ole SC  :)

P.S. Is RiotSC a south carolina native?  PM's welcome.

I have received an urgent message for the georgia team. Unless you are 40 to 1, your force will soon be undone.

Will any meals be provided and what meals are included in the field fee?

for twenty bucks, I kinda doubt any meals are included, but is there any place to eat nearby, and are we close enough for any pizza delivery?

Why will Ga "obviously" be outnumbered? Our numbers have been looking pretty strong.
