Operation: Second Sun
Events took a serious turn during the Pittsburgh Summit of Western Industrialized Nations (The G-20) on September 25, 2009. At the G-20 Summit in Pittsburgh, President Obama, along with the leaders of Great Britain and France, announced the existence of a secret Iranian nuclear facility inside a mountain about a hundred miles south of Tehran.
The information revealed by the Western leaders came from spies on the ground in Iran, as well as spy satellites, revealing that Iran has a secret uranium enrichment plant deep inside a mountain. In response to this news, the Iranian government said they would allow United Nations inspectors access to this newly revealed Iranian nuclear facility.
That was a few years ago. After countless stallings and breaks from the Iranian Government, the UN investigators finally have an opening to view the facility. However, Iran has no intentions on letting these officials go. Now inside the mountain near Tehran, workers and terrorists have taken the UN inspectors hostage, and are furiously attempting to finish and ship out the nuclear weapons before the UN reacts.
But the western spies knew about this as well, and an elite task force is to be dropped at the base of the mountain within the hour of the hostage taking. The British Royal Marines head the operation with two platoons of troops, one to attack the main facility where the hostages are estimated to be held, and the other to attack the airfield where the nuclear weapons are to be sent out.
The Iranians are preparing for an all out Jiihad against these British/UN infidels. The terrorist have already put together their chemical weapons, as well as a few hidden bombs throughout the mountain. To save the intel and the hostages, the Royal Marines will not only have to eliminate the enemies, but defuse the bombs scattered around the mountain.
Time is running out. The Royal Marines have been deployed. The terrorists have set their timers. Which side do you choose?

::(Hostage Intel):: 5 hostages, no weapons.
To be released, two hand medic heal for 1 minute, and no live hostile enemies within 25 feet.
You may drag the hostages, with two hands, no firing, at a slow walk (run with two people).
Once a hostage is taken back to one of the Bravo's bases, he is scored and released into play, unabled to be recaptured as a hostage.
If the hostage is shot under any time that he is a hostage, he will be released into play, unable to be recaptured as a hostage, and both teams will loose points.
::(Chemical Weapons)::
The Alpha Commander will be given a few colored smoke grenades. The grenade is to be considered a chemical weapon. When used, everything within the smoke is 'poisoned', unless they have gasmasks. If near a building, the building is considered 'poisonness' for the next 30 minutes and only players wearing gas masks (painter styled masks too) are allowed to enter. Everyone else is considered dead, friendly or not, and must return to a respawn with no medic or bleedout. These can be used to destroy HQs
::(Bombs)::
Alpha will be given a few bombs that have wires, in which if the wrong one is cut, the bomb will emit a loud noise. Also, if the timer reaches zero, then the bomb will go off. The bombs will be planted around the field at either capturable respawns or other major places. These can be used to destroy HQs
::(Sniper Team)::
Each Commander will select one sniper team. Their sole objective is to assassinate the opposing team's leader(s); get in range, kill him, and get out, all undetected. Before the leader is taken out, the Sniper Team must radio in to Admin, confirm sight on target, and ask for permission to shoot. Once the admin grants permission, the team can take their shot. The CO will be considered 'eliminated' if the team leaves undetected, and the XO will have to step up. The sniper team gets bonus points for whomever else they take out once given permission to fire, but remember, part of the task is escaping undetected. This is to challenge some of the more experienced, long range players.
Undetected means that they have to shoot and escape without being seen. If the snipers eliminate the entire CO guard without being seen, then they are undetected. The guard team has exactly 1 minute from the first trigger pull to find the snipers and engage them. Wildly firing at everything isn't engaging. If one sniper is shot, or is found and followed, then the mission was a failure.

Star, just for you...FIRST!
You name a game, I've been to it.
If I've banned you, then you have more than likely deserved it.
If I deleted a post it didn't need to be there or I simply didn't like it.

Why not be a CO or XO?
I don't know, I'd probably be willing to be an XO, I'll have to think about that CO bit. But I've never been to Blue Hole before, so I'd be at a disadvantage to the opponent CO if they did have knowledge of the field.
It also seems that COs don't get much action, however, It might be kind of fun to challenge the enemy's sniper team

Please note that there will be an admin with each CO at all times. The admin will be there to answer game questions, and shadow the CO's all day.
I love the Corps for those intangible possessions that cannot be issued: pride, honor, integrity, and being able to carry on the traditions for generations of warriors past. [Cpl. Jeff Sornig, USMC; in Navy Times, November 1994]

Re: AJAX Presents: Operation Second Sun ||Feb 18th Blue Hole
Is there an opportunity to bring a tank like last time?
Re: AJAX Presents: Operation Second Sun ||Feb 18th Blue Hole
There will be a tank there, for special reason. But if you have a tank youd like to bring sure, only issue is that Blue Hole doesn't have many good roads.
