Try wearing full ACUs, an ACH, and an IOTV w/ X-SAPI plates while carrying your rifle and bags to fly into Iraq from Kuwait where the temps were averaging 110 degrees during the day. You all should seriously be fine if you properly hydrate, take adequate rest periods, and don't drink a ton of soda and energy drinks.

^jrleonard has a point guys. Just hydrate, or if anything, roll up your sleeves, BDUs are not thick heavy clothes. If you wear shorts, you will most likely regret it. Unless you're Dom or something

BDU's are designed for warm weather use. Drink a ton of water, then another ton of water, and another ton. If you don't have to pee, you aren't drinking enough, so another ton of water would be in order.

Then again, we attacked the hilltop 15 minutes after the second game ended, meeting the admin on top asking why none of us were on channel 10.

Ok this rule is used to avoid confusion for identification for both your faction and your enemy:
I have explained this several times and im still working a way to explain it simpler And more clearly.

Standard rules:
- all BDUs (pants n shirts n hat/helmet) must MATCH FACTION colors
- gear including vest, boots, holsters, etc can be ANY color
- NO black Tops or hats,
- black paintball mask or eye pro if nessasary is ok but faction colored is recommended

Extra Rules if you want to wear black via contractor loadout etc...
- you CAN wear a black top ONLY IF ALL your remaining GEAR and PANTs match your faction colors

SHIRT/JACKET, PANTS, HAT/HELMET = Green or tan camo depending on which side you're on.
GEAR = any color, doesn't matter
Black shirt/jacket ONLY if everything else is green or tan.

Weather is looking great, turnout should be very good considering we are adding a bunch new guys from red fox returning for the official event this weekend. AOSC Vets get out there and show them how its done.


IMPORTANT note
- If you havent Pre-Registered for Steel Griffin Convoy yet, we will be accepting sign-ups at the event this weekend. No personal Checks please.
- I have a bunch of used woodland BDUs pants and tops. They are all small Reg and real issue. They are FREE for new guys who do NOT have any camo yet. Remember they are small reg. 1 set per person until gone. No holding for anyone, ask at registration Saturday so get there early if want a set i guess.
