-In 1984 during the Cold War, a Department of Defense funded research and development team named the Strategic Defense Initiative delved head first into the use of radiation beams to vaporize missiles and threats. The idea that any incoming threat could be immediately annihilated by an ablative laser propulsion shock was one President Reagan could not overlook. Codenamed “Project Excalibur”, the SDI worked for years to develop such a device. However Project Excalibur was never reported as functioning and the idea was scrapped in 1993.
As of August of this year, it seems that the project was compromised. Reports surfaced that multiple shipments of radioactive material have been making their way through the Escudia Mountains. A small team was sent after the most recent shipment and observed as much as they could from afar. Their report concluded that the Escudia Durmand Rebels (EDR) have been manufacturing a weapon from the older blueprints from Project Excalibur. The Project Excalibur name for this weapon was the Fission Powered Energy Cannon, or the F-PEC. If this weapon becomes operational, the EDR will have the ability to vaporize any target they desire. They have to be stopped.
We are awaiting further info from a Force Recon team that has been deployed. We will update you as necessary.

The FORECON team has relayed us this information: “The F-PEC has entered some testing phases, only to fail. Group is led by Durmand Leader, but project is led by another developer.
