I don't know if I can stay all night (scared of what might happen if I leave early) that's why I might not come.

What the hell are you talking about? It is required because the game mechanics will fail if people show up, play their shift as a survivor, and then leave. If people are allowed to do that, then it will be screwing over the people who play the last shift because there will be no zombies left! Danny, why don't I allow everyone to leave right before the last shift of humans, and you play as a human the last shift? When you try to play then game without any zombies to shoot, then maybe you will understand why it is a requirement.

Are you really OK with half of the players getting screwed over? Do you really think I am being a "communist" and an "elitist" by trying to ensure that everyone who plays gets the same fun experience? First you say the game costs too much, then you want me to deny half of the people who show up the full game experience? If you want me to start running games where I don't try to make it so everyone has a good time, too bad. That's my job.

Come out and take pictures if you want.. But if you pay to play, you better play all night long.

Think about Op24-3. Everyone payed for 24 hours but people thought, hey i dont need to be here all night long, lets go home. And the people left looking forward to winning were left with no one to fight.

Again, what the hell are you talking about? Danny, did you read how the game works? People have to take turns as zombies and survivors. If people leave early, then the survivors later on have no zombies to kill! In other words, those who leave early are literally ruining the game for other players. You are saying you want that?

Here is an idea my company did when we used to have Christmas parties outside of the workplace and food was catered. They charged you $10 to attend the party, but the money was returned to you if you showed up. This way they did not have a big problem with people saying they would show up and then not show up and have too much food left over.

Game organizer could charge an extra $10 to play. If you stayed to the end, you are refunded the $10. If you left early, the money would not be returned to you and would be split amongst those who stayed until the end.

And I understand the guy that has the cross state drive and kids and church on sunday, but this games supposed to end around 1-3 depending on how many show up. We have the entire complex to sleep in, and its like three months until. Get that day off, get the spouse to watch the kids, and show up late to church.

I was praying this game would happen! Count me and the usual IronFox peeps in!

It's vital that everyone stays throughout the game. A lack of such discipline can really screw up a delicately balanced scenario like this one. Take it from someone who had the last survivor shift at the previous zombie game. It was criminally easy to complete all of the objectives and was quite of a letdown. (That being said, I don't wanna "call dibs" too early, but I really don't wanna have to go last again. Even if the game has more discipline.)

What are the aesthetic limits on the survivors' loadouts? I wanted a chance to wear my Half-Life Marine loadout again, but not if it's a civie-only game.

Oh and Felix, check out the soundtrack to Killing Floor if you're in search of some more zombie-killing music. It's good stuff.
