I've got your back, Diesel.  Bring the coffee!

Just because your radio traffic might be intercepted, do not be afraid to send out radio reports and information, ESPECIALLY reports on the movements of enemy forces.  It does your enemy no good if you tell them where they are!  If you really need help, the bad guys already know you need help, so it does you no good to stay silent.

...That being said, be smart and think about what you say before you press the button.  Panic radio calls under fire more often than not just sound like you are blowing into the microphone for 30 seconds.

yes, infact the taliban use the quite often to keep track of coalition troops and co ordinate attacks. they have spotters whose whole purpose is to inform them of our troop movements.

Yes, thank you Smitty for getting it.
The point is to add another dimension to the game.
Also in a REAL world situations intercepted intel from radios, captives, spys, messages, etc. play a HUGE role in most modern wars.
So just enjoy it, use it, ignore it, whatever you do is up to you.

If you don't think terrorist use radios, then you are sorely mistaken.

As far as them being secure, radios do fall into enemy hands who can then listen in on them.

Normally the AOSC does not allow the other team to listen in on radio traffic, but Ninja has decided to allow it at this game, so enough with the what if/s.  This is the ruleset for this game.  Adapt and feal with it. ;)

I like the idea of the radios being open on some games like this. Makes it a little more challenging.

We're going to need separate callsigns from our usual callsigns so no one knows who's who.

Yo dawg, I heard you like callsigns..

That makes no sense at all, because how are you going to remember anyone's new call sign when there are 50+ people on your team.

People are really making a much too big of a deal abuot this.  People just need to learn radio discipline.
