No. at any AOSC game with night play there is a semi only rule. Full auto has never been allowed at a night game as far as im aware. Safety and all that.

Night games are semi only. Anyone caught using full can be removed from the field.
I love the Corps for those intangible possessions that cannot be issued: pride, honor, integrity, and being able to carry on the traditions for generations of warriors past.  [Cpl. Jeff Sornig, USMC; in Navy Times, November 1994]

Anyone that isn't green is a viable target. There, I talked pre-game trash.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to fighting for Alpha. IronFox will be out there serving as stalwart front-line grunts, as always. Ready to die, as long as it serves a purpose. :P

True, but "hit and fade" is pretty useless in a line-holding scenario.

Is that why 200+ players were setting at the DZ at Fulda during the last hour of the day on Saturday? Damn.. had I known it wasn't a relevant tactic any more I would have just ran away in terror during the WP mass rushes for Rex... Oh wait.. I didn't, nor did any of the other NATO players.. and we held the line....

Teh awesomez M60 held the line at Rex for the first part of Saturday until they brought up armor. I'd say holding that line on top of the hill worked pretty well, considering hundreds died attacking it and not a man made it through alive until the armor penetration.

In modern objective based warfare, there should be no lines of battle. If it's a deathmatch with no objectives, that's another thing.
Correct me if I'm wrong but that's my opinion.l

Please just shut up. your making yourself look more and more like an idiot with each post you make.

Back on topic. I have my Sniper rifle up and working again and will be fielding it there. I will carry all 3 types of camo just in case.

So you're saying for example:

There is an area with a nasty insurgent FOB, they've been using this FOB for weeks now planting IEDs in the surrounding area and having firefights with any coalition troops they see. Now the Marines push up into the area, obviously the objective is to neutralize this FOB. They fight their way in, take control of the base and secure that area. After all of this they say, "To hell with this place let's head back, we already killed all the insurgents..." leaving what's left of the base for the insurgents to retake and build back up.

There will ALWAYS be battle lines where your forward troops are, and most of the time when you send an army/division/platoon to take an objective you generally don't give it back once you take it.

Maybe I'm not understanding how you see battle lines, but I assure you there will always be battle lines in warfare. Now if you're talking about a strike force like SEALs/Rangers/MARSOC any of that, then unless you're planning to move your main forces up to that point, they are "behind enemy lines" and so do not create your forward line of battle.

My definition of "battel lines" is like what they had in WWI(accidentally said WWII in my first post). Two enemies lining up in front of each other in trenches and blasting away. You're definition seems to be different than mine, so we're both right :)
