All players under the age of 18 shall, when playing in a CQB game, wear a hard face mask with full seal eye protection. All players at or over the age of 18 shall be required to wear full seal eye protection. Additional face and mouth protection for players over 18 will be at their own discretion.
So... no.

Full face; you guys have insurance??

I guess something covering the mouth is nesessary seeing is dmr hit me in the chin and bled me..

something to protect the teeth is important.. shemaghs work perfect.. mouth piece maybe...

Full face if not top of the line or vented correct becomes more dangerous not to mention hard to target ( becomes paintsoft blind firing ), people fog in 2 minutes, end up trying to wipe it out, you know what happens, everyone has been guilty of hiding and taken a mask off..

I need GOOD mesh, something you can actually see out of.. any suggestions???

It doesn't matter how long you've been playing, but if you're caught doing that by a rep you will (if they're in a good mood) be warned once. Technically, the rules say you will be ejected on the spot.

The rules are the rules. Take them or leave them, they are well thought out and we can't make exceptions when it comes to safety. Full face for CQB (under 18) has not only been the South Carolina standard for years, it's the national and international standard aswell.

As far as good mesh... http://www.airsoftatlanta.com/Airsoft_Wire_Mesh_Full_Face_Mask_p/33534.htm That mask is completely modular. You can remove everything all the way down to the goggles, but the goggles + face shield make an excellent, fairly low profile mesh mask that doesn't impede your vision. It's woven mesh instead of mesh plate, but I've taken direct hits from high-powered rifles without a dent

What qualifies as a hard mask:

Paintball mask

Mesh masks (including lower face masks like BitterEnd and BrassGuard sell)

Neoprene masks (half or otherwise)

Plastic half masks

Sorry if I come across a little bit short, but these things have been sliced, diced, hashed, and rehashed ever since the SCAA started running Wellford games years ago.

Airsoft Atlanta has these Ian.  I've been using mine for a year.

You name a game, I've been to it.

If I've banned you, then you have more than likely deserved it.

If I deleted a post it didn't need to be there or I simply didn't like it.

Ive got one of those Gam, actually had 2, someone walked off with one.. I cant see out of those at all..

Now that iron mask thats tight, been looking for those..

I want the non weave mesh but in a better full seal, the ones folks usually wear that stick out far, dont like those..

maybe i can just find the material and put it in my full seal..

I think I have put together an interesting scenario for you guys, but remember, it's just a game. If you think it is too complex, or just dumb, that's fine and you can have a great time just running around shooting people without paying attention to objectives. However, for those of you that want more MilSim games, this falls under that category. You may notice that there are mag limits, and assigned medics were added. Also, the scenario will be dynamic, your later objectives and intel will depend on how you accomplish your early objectives and will be kept realistic and challenging. Be prepared to think outside the box.
