If anyone is certain they are coming, please post here. We are looking to get a general idea of how many to expect.

FYI, this never works.
You name a game, I've been to it.

If I deleted a post it didn't need to be there or I simply didn't like it.

Just for a quick note! If you come in black to be blackwater/ Charlie, it does not make you assigned to blackwater. It is by appointment ONLY! That was the ruling of the organizers.

I know this, but it costs me nothing to ask, and worse case, no one responds.

Marauder, when I had him come to Op Apple pie , he told me that there needed to be at least 100 people for him to come to our events. Because for him to load up all of his stuff and bring it with people , he needed to make enough money . I am on good terms with him if you would like me to ask , but he will want a idea of number of people . Just let me know if I can help .

I assume you're referring to Zoobie? If so, I've already spoken with him about it.

There is no way for you to be able to tell if there are going to be 100 people there or not. I promise you that you aren't going to get 100 people saying they are coming in this thread. Dom said he would be there, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. People have plenty of time to get anything they need before then.

Having been to the previous two blackwater games (and having been on the BW team in the second one) i would like to re-iterate the importance of BW teams behavior.

There need to be rules in place that dictate what BW can and can't do. The most important being: they cannot lie.

Blackwater needs to follow through with the deals they make, even if they turn on them immediately afterwards. CO's of Bravo and Alpha...be smart. Don't pay them entirely upfront. If anything pay on completion of job. Don't pay blackwater to fight with you for XX amount of time because when thats up they turn and shoot.

AND BLACKWATER MEMBERS. IF SOMEONE ASKS YOU WHICH TEAM YOU ARE ON YOU WILL TELL THEM OR YOU WILL SHOOT THEM.

If i hear more reports about people straight up lying and then killing people form 2 feet I'm out. And you better believe I will make sure no one i knows ever comes to a BW game again.

What I've told people at past blackwater games and what i will tell them this time...shoot on site. Don't ask...just shoot.

Whoever is admin'ing please make sure BW is at least fulfilling bargains. If a CO pays for a job he should get an honest attempt at having it finished.

ALSO....no lunch deals. The game is not ongoing during lunch, so don't be handing out money and making backroom deals. Its arisoft not politics.

Did i miss anything? Blackwater games are a lot of fun...but there is so much room for people to just ruin the entire day for everyone else. I want to make sure everyone has a good time.

I designed the scenario, story, and gameplay. I had no hand in any of these with prior Blackwater games. Additionally, we will be instituting a few new rules with this iteration. These will be detailed and gone over at the pregame briefing, and are designed to ensure everyone has a good time. I was the Bravo CO for the first Blackwater game, and I'm fully aware of what can be done to improve upon it. Conjecture about the game, how it will be run, and how it compares to its predecessors is just that. Conjecture.

He is simply voicing his concerns based on the 2 previous Blackwater games.

Yeah I'm not saying any of those things would happen. I'd actually prefer they not. Whoever makes the Charlie squad needs to confine themselves to the same rules as everyone else. Honesty.

And CO's need to remember it isn't about winning its about making sure everyone sees some action and has some fun.

Marauder I'm very much looking forward to this game. And what i have to say about past games in no way reflects how i think or hope this game will be. The past two were loads of fun, probably my favorite scenarios ever. I'm hoping this one can be even moreso.

I'll see you guys out there!

Edit: after thinking about it i really do think you should disclose all of your rules here. Believe it or not...not everyone pays attention during the briefings. If the rules are posted then you have a written recording of them. And the people who read this thread will know them, and they can clarify things on the field for their teammates if need be.

Don't rely on your briefing to clear everything up because it probably won't.
