I understand your gun is small. That was a given. Just man up and deal with the under brush.

I'm clearly stating an observation of recent gameplay. And yes, no poop, being the sniper that I am, I don't like being forced into engagements in the underbrush. I LOVE the underbrush when I'm trying to flank around behind someone though. I think the field as a whole is very well balanced; its only when we're forced into small sections of it that people can get frustrated.
I wouldn't be bringing this up if it was solely me who was frustrated with the underbrush... but other dude jack sparrow or whatnot brought it up first, and I know many of the players were frustrated with it last time as well.
You and Dom don't want to listen, that's fine. You guys aren't running the game ...................(are you?)

Luke I undestand. The radar tower area is almost insane how thick the underbrush is as well as the area across the road from the trenches. I just had to pull your chain. I truly couldn't resist.

I know, did you not catch my so cleverly edited quote of your comment?Iam_Hoss wrote:Luke I undestand. The radar tower area is almost insane how thick the underbrush is as well as the area across the road from the trenches. I just had to pull your chain. I truly couldn't resist.

What a weird nickname... "L85"Star_folder wrote:My L85 is 29 inches long.
It sounds like what R2-D2 would call his dong.

Yes, everywhere around the radar tower except the left flank between it and the closest road is thick... but that's a far cry from implying the entire field is a jungle. I'm pretty sure that at the game you are talking about that was the last of three sections of the field we played? The first was the trenches, which is VERY open. Just because a couple people whine about some underbrush during the ONE portion of the day when we weren't playing in mostly wide open areas doesn't mean that the game organizer should have refused anyone the opportunity to play some closer range engagements in the shade. Remember, it's an admins job to listen to everyone and act accordingly. I think he made the right choice not to play the exact same type of field all day long.
...and since I'm already defining your terminology I'll throw out one more:
Definition of a short gun to Luke: "any gun shorter than 52 inches".

I felt compelled to rib him because I don't think I've ever been to a game where he didn't complain about underbrush . He knows we love him and his weird long guns, even if we pick on him.

I think I'll make the drive down from Lejeune this weekend. Does anyone have a battery that I can borrow for my crane stock? I haven't pulled my gear out in over a year, and my batteries are pretty well dead for good.
