You should re-name the game seeing as noone is going Vietnam, I would use my USMC vietnam gear but im not going b/c noone is going Vietnam also b/c its the day after the border war

Actually Sarge the Border War is going to take a bigger hit because of Vietnam being on the same weekend, because there is simply no comparison between the fields.  CDWC is the best field in the area by far.  Saluda is a campground with very few structures you can actually use.

I think Sarge is bitching because he thinks people will not dress up the role.  I think he is just intimidated by NC games and does not want to get shot.

Nah, Sarge has a point. Too many times have I seen post game pictures of games called "Vietnam" only to have like forty people running around with M4's and plate carriers. Its kind of disheartening to those of us that put forth the effort to get Nam loadouts...  :'(

   i didnt mean noone was going to go to this OP i just ment probably noone was going to dress the part and i just dont want to go to a game named OP Vietnam if me and 2 more of my teammates will be the only ones in gear of that era. Fox is right it is dishearting to put money and effort towards gear like that then go to a vietnam game and have people running around with modern gear

There will be plenty of people there dressed the part, but plenty of others not.  I could honestly care less what anyone is wearing.  I will play at any game on this field, because it is simply the best field in the area.  I don't think there are going to be a bunch of vietnamese on the tan team either.  You guys do have nice Vietnam loadouts, but I'm not buying a gun and gear for a VN loadout where there are only a few games that require them.  I feel the same about as WW II loadout.  I have nothing against anyone with them and think a lot of them are very cool.  The field owner would have 1/4 of the total people if he required era specific uniforms and guns and let's face it, the field owners want to make as much money as possible.  If you want to come to the game, then come out and enjoy it, if not that is fine too.  No one is making anyone come to the game.
