The Delimitation Conflict - April 16th & 17th
Re: The Delimitation Conflict - April 16th & 17th
Thanks for the reply; question mainly out of curiousity as I couldn't find a reference. For what it's worth, I'm gonna be decked out in khaki and three-color desert

The newer birch/bekas berezka is certainly tan, and won't cause any confusion. The only confusion was my thinking you meant one of the older woodland varieties.fallout11 wrote: Roger that. We'll just wear something less open to confusion, not a problem.

I don't think the player base can handle that, man.

I wanted to post this up, since I got confirmation this weekend at the expo.
Airsoft Carolina will be at the game doing onsite vending and minor repairs to guns. I will try to get a list of products and prices before next week and post them up.

Can someone be more specific on the 1600 round ammo rule on a regular person, like with an m4. Is it just 1600 in mags and as much as I want in bb bags on me and reload on field or?/

We changed it to 2000 rounds in mags. You are allowed to carry as much as you like in bags or whatever, but only allowed to reload in a captured base or respawn....blackout wrote: Can someone be more specific on the 1600 round ammo rule on a regular person, like with an m4. You mean 200 or 2000? because that's a big difference and makes it a big advantage to be a support gunner w/ 5000.GARRETT wrote: We changed it to 200 rounds in mags. You are allowed to carry as much as you like in bags or whatever, but only allowed to reload in a captured base or respawn....

Garrett is attempting to simulate a conventional "real steel" ammunition combat loadout, where the typical soldier carries 200-300 rounds of ready ammunition (in mags) for his personal weapon on him at a time, with "resupply" available at your friendly (better be!) local ammo dump/forward CP, thus requiring one to be judicious in their use of it (as soldiers must be, especially if far from ready resupply).
240 rounds of 7.62x39mm (my round of choice), or 8 full 30 round magazines is frickin' heavy, over 12 pounds. Add in an 8 pound rifle and all the other gear a typical squaddie has to haul (including ammo for the squad's support weapons), and there you go.
I've been to events where, if you wanted to use a SAW, the staff required you to carry 2 full sandbags as well (to simulate the extra weight). Of course, no one was that excited about the prospect, but it did make a good point.

I think the maximum load in mags limit is a great idea, making it a bit more "realistic" by keeping players aware of logistics in the field, and by possibly keeping "spraying & praying" in check
