Oh ok. I got sort of confused when you started talking about buying things, it sounded like it was gonna get REALLY expensive. Now it makes since, I will see about coming if I can.splatmaster wrote: There will be in game coins supplied.

UPDATE: Vests and other gear that can carry hydro is now allowed from the start. No limits. This is in the interest of safety. EVERYONE must have hydro.

Re: Airsoft LARP/Fallout Scenario. UNAMYSTIC: THE BEGINNING. June 27th.
Gentleman, I have some really bad news.
I cannot in good conscience hold this game this weekend. Due to a very recent surgery, and another surgery immanent, the money I had saved away for props and all other expenses is almost completely gone. I held on hope that prepays would cover what I needed to buy, but their was a massive lack of drive for people to prepay and it was not nearly enough. I am so, so sorry for all of you that requested time off or made arrangements to come to this game, especially those out of state-ers. I am genuinely ashamed of my inability to somehow hold this together. However, I refuse to hold a sub-par game. You all expect the best, and I will not ruin my game hosting reputation by trying to scrape together a "good enough" game.
This game will be tentatively rescheduled for mid-december. It will be much cooler then, and allow for more customization of your individual uniforms.
Please tell anyone you know that was planning on attending this news.
Please realize I am canceling this in your best interest, as I would never want to hold a game as expensive as this without giving you everything you paid for and more. At this point, thanks to my suddenly rebellious body(Appendix, now wisdom teeth infection), I simply cannot make this continue to happen. I feel absolutely terrible about this.
At this point, I am going to speak to the field owner about holding an open field day instead. This is not assured, but as we already had the field I would be surprised if we cannot. Especially if you already requested off for an airsoft weekend and still want to play.
Again, I am so incredibly sorry for the inconvenience this cancellation has caused.

I am sorry to hear of your misfortune, and I am sure everyone can understand that such extenuating circumstances simply can't be helped. However, this means my attendance is much more likely. I hope everything works out, and thank you for being so candid.

Ditto to what Dom said. Put this on a Saturday in a few months, and we should all have ample time to plan ahead. Thanks for being up-front about the situation.

As much as I was looking forward to this game, I completely understand about your situation. Thanks for being up front and telling us... can't wait for December now!

It may be december, or slightly sooner if I can swing it over my fall break. It was you out of state guys that I was most worried about. There is no way I would screw over the guys driving the furthest with a game that was not exactly what was advertised. I genuinely just wanted you guys to have a game and come back excited, because I know how terrible it feels to drive a long way to a game and feel like you didn't get what you paid for. This will give me time to heal, find a couple more NPC's to make it even more fun, and get the word out a bit more.

I gotta admit I was pretty bummed at first, but health comes first.

Man, it wasn't about the health. If I could have gotten everything together sick, I would have. It was just sickness preventing the action phase of props and final preparation and also preventing me from being able to work to pay for it. Such is life, but I hate the disappointment I have caused.Foxx wrote: I gotta admit I was pretty bummed at first, but health comes first.
