Thought I'd throw some advice in:
I've hosted a LOT of games at Wellford (2-3 yrs ago), and let me say to the game coordinators...PLEASE go to the field a day or so before the game to scope the place out for potential hazards.  You can get a 49 cent roll of caution tape (walmart) to wrap around hazardous objects or around doors you don't want to be opened, as well as cordon off parts of the field that may have breakable objects.  (At the first Wellford game, 2 windows were broken)

Also, please have a nice fat safety brief.  CQB is a whole different monster from field gaming.  Fun as it is, you really have to be careful and honorable.  Whether or not you want to let people do certain things is up to you, but if you don't make some sort of rule up, you will be surprised at what people end up doing just to win.  A few clever people at the first Wellford game ended up on the roof of the buildings, WAY unsafe, not to mention damaging to the roof.  A few other people decided to bend holes in the metal siding, stick their gun barrels out, and shoot without presenting a target or even looking down their sights.  That's unsafe, dishonorable, and if you're going for mil-sim, unrealistic (real rounds would rip right through the sheet metal, bb's have a much harder time doing so).


All of that said, I'd love to come to this game.  Hopefully my car will be out of the shop and ready for the journey

Hmm, anyone feel like letting me borrow a CQB rated gun for the day? I don't think my VFC will qualify (and no I'm not opening it up).

Coming back to SC, should be there on the 13th for Summer.

You made some very good points there Gabe, and most of those are being taken care of already.

For teams of 5 to 7 players, we will be opening the field at 7am for some team on team hostage rescue games. If you plan on coming out early let me know, the slots are limited.

Steevo, Glock with the extended mags are the way to go.  I really wish I could make it to this one, but there will be plenty of more events out here.  I'll let you guys get all the glitches worked out.
