RULES:
All standard AOSC rules apply. All friendly players will be medics to friendlies, two handed thirty second heal. No firing while healing. Each player may receive two medic heals, after the second heal (meaning the third time you've been hit) you must return to respawn or a forward respawn in your factions possession. There is a mandatory three minute bleed out time before you may return to respawn, even if you were shot in your respawn itself. After you bleed out, you must return to respawn or the evac site (if under your factions control) in order to be back in the game. One person may "drag" a hit friendly player by grabbing them, if one live friendly drags than you must walk, if two live friendlies drag then you may run. All mag types will be allowed, however all players will be limited to carrying only 1500rnds of ammo in mags at any given time, period. The only exception is for support gunners, which may carry 5000 rnds in mags at any given time. The moveable objectives can obviously be moved only by live players. They may not be taken anywhere except to the point your faction is meant to take them. Do not remove anything from them. Do not conceal them in any way. Defenders are to keep them out in the very middle of the base area on the ground in the predesignated spot. Attackers must take them inside the bunker/trench at the evac site. I will not be playing, but I reserve the right to temporarily insert myself into play to prevent a stalemate. Do not shoot me unless I am brandishing a weapon, if I am, you may shoot me and I will remain out of play for a minimum of three minutes. Most of the time, I will simply be admining and will have any weapons on me slung or holstered. I may be required to function as a VIP for a special mission, in which case I will be brandishing a weapon, and will therefore be in play. However, in this case, if you see that I am being protected by members of your faction, it would be in your best interest to protect me as well. If the opposite is true, shoot me. I will have three admins, one at each base, and one at the evac site. They will be helping me keep an eye on things and will be keeping scores. They will be clearly marked as out of play, do not shoot them, but feel free to ask questions of them. Do not bend the rules at this game. Use common sense and keep everything within the rules, if something isn't provided for in them, don't do it. Do not attempt to manipulate the rules, if that's the only way you can win, than find another game. Treat your opponents with courtesy and respect, and don't do anything that you would consider underhanded if you were on the receiving end. Alpha will be assigned all even numbered channels from 2 up, Bravo will be assigned all odd numbered channels from 3 up. I and the other admins will be on channel 1, if you ever have questions or concerns during gameplay, get on channel 1 and talk to me. Otherwise, stay on your own faction's channels. Your FCs will divide them as they please, and will likely set one as the command channel. It is in your best interest to bring a radio so that your FC can keep you informed and can coordinate your faction. You have only to enter your actual respawn building to reenter gameplay when blead out. Even if you are in your respawn building, you must still bleed out when appropriate. Understand that if you enter the enemy's respawn building, the other faction's players may be able to respawn right next to you. The evac site is a capturable respawn. It will have three flags, one with a "B" one with an "A", and one with an "X" that indicates it is not usable at that time. To take it, simply flip it to your faction's letter. If at any point it comes under fire, it is not a valid respawn and the admin present will flip it to the "X". In other words, you may only respawn at the evac site if a live friendly player has your flag flying in it, and there are no live enemies within firing distance, to be determined by the admin present. At the capturable spawn, you have to touch the flag (assuming it's in your faction's possesion) in order to respawn there. To gain points for evac of the black breifcase, it has to be inside the tower, either downstairs or up, at index time. To gain points for evac of the large container, it has to be within twenty feet of the base of the tower at index time.

Failure to follow any and all of these rules will be grounds for immediate dismissal from the field without a refund (By myself, or any other AOSC Rep), it is your duty to familiarize yourself with them prior to the game. (Not trying to sound harsh, but it is what it is ;))

STORYLINE:
It is 2010, but the political map of the world is not what you thought...

It turns out that in the late third century, the Roman Emperor Diocletian made the timeline altering decision NOT to split the Roman empire in two. Hence, rather than slowly disintegrating as it would have, the Roman Empire repelled the barbarians from the north and east, and in a few centuries managed to retake it's old holdings. Throughout the Middle Ages it went on to take control of all of Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and even parts of western Asia. The rest of the world is essentially the same as you know it to be, but the lands mentioned above are controlled by the largest nation in the world, and the only empire still in existence. Rome is the center of the world, and it's Emperor the most powerful world leader. Though the Senate exists, and serves it's legislative purpose, the Roman Emperor is nonetheless an extremely powerful executive. The throne has been passed down for two thousand years now, often to the oldest son, but sometimes to a favored general. The last Emperor, however, died before he could properly appoint his heir. Thus, for the first time in several hundred years, the Roman Empire is thrown into a civil war. A Praetorian unit has been sent under the capable command of Garrettus Maximus (Garret, Alpha FC) to put down a rebellion by members of Legio III, commanded by the renowned Geraldus Baldius Awesomium (Rael, Bravo FC). This is the first blow in the impending civil war, and will determine the major contenders for the title of IMPERATOR, and the crown of Caesar.

Cry "havoc!", and let slip the dogs of war!

OBJECTIVES:

Alpha's objectives:
0900-1100: Defend the large container at your base. Keep it in the predesignated spot, if the enemy steals it, bring it back.
1100-1300: Attempt to retrieve the black briefcase in Bravo's base. Bring it back to the evac site and hold it there.
1 hour lunch break.

1600-1800: Defend the black briefcase at your base. Keep it in its predesignated spot, if the enemy steals it, bring it back.

Your FC and his #2 will be given special, secret objectives to assign squads to undertake, only your FC, his #2, and the squad(s) they assign will know about these missions. If completed, they will gain points for their team, but they will not be easy.

MAP:

APACHE is Bravo's base before lunch, and the POW camp on the "island" adjacent to the VILLAGE will be Alpha's base before lunch. After lunch, both sides switch bases. The primary objectives that will be defended will be placed in a designated spot to hold, the black briefcase will be up in 'no man's land' just south of APACHE, and the large container will be between the VILLAGE and SOUTHBASE. The TOWER will be the evac site and only capturable respawn.

Please note this game has been moved to Triggertyme, this is NOT going to be at Redfox.

I'm still working on the map, but:

Bravo's base before lunch will be the twin buildings at the top of the map, just north of the airfield. Alpha's base before lunch will be on the island at the bottom of the map just south of the town. The evac site/capturable respawn will be the tower (two story building surrounded by trenches in the center of the field) for the whole game. After lunch the two factions will switch bases. When the northern base is on defense, it's object will be in the north end of the airfield. When the southern base is on defense, it's object will be in the northern end of the village.
