Ok guys and gals it is the time you guys have all been waiting on.  6mm Militia will be putting on our third annual Airsoft Sniper Tournament on May 22nd and 23rd.  
Price will be $40 for a 2 person team.  You must have a spotter and sniper to enter the competition.

Here is a list of potential events to plan for with a few twists from previous years:

Stage 1: Land Navigation- must complete the land navigation course with a deduction in points for wrong points
Stage 2: Primary Weapon Competition- engage different targets from around/through/over vehicles.
Stage 3: Pistol Weapon Qualification- engage  ring style targets for points scored.
Stage 4: Spotter Weapon Qualification- engage playing cards.
Stage 5: Endurance Run Target Shoot- team studies the target and then does endurance run.  Must shoot the correct target when they get to the range.
Stage 6: Counter Sniper- The sniper and spotter are separated and then the spotter must use a radio to direct the sniper to targets.  
Stage 7: Stalk- must do a timed stalk and hit the target without hitting the body guards.

The location and date are set.  This will be the third different place for the third year in a row.  I do not want any Sniper Teams to get too confident and have an edge in the stalking phase.

Prepay is necessary by May 9th at the latest.  All payments can be made via Paypal or money order.  PM me for Paypal or PO address.

Here is the packing list that is needed for the event

• Pen/Pencil and paper
• 2 FRS/GRMS radios with back up or extra batteries
• Scoped rifle for sniper: Bolt action or Semi auto
• Side arm for sniper must be able to shoot semi or be spring powered
• AEG for spotter (optics recommended)
• Water/Food
• Compass or GPS
• Tools for repairs (recommended)
• Ghillie (recommended)
• Calculator (recommended)
• Bag to carry everything (recommended)
• No laser range finders are allowed!!!!

Hope you guys bring your A game and have been practicing your range estimation.  That and a working radio can be the difference between winning and not winning.

Crazy - the Sniper for Aircross will be attending this event for sure.

Don't know just yet, working on it.

Won't be able to make it after all..Sniper has to go to an NRA meeting that day.

is this a one or 2 day event?

We will try to do it in one day and then have a fun game the following day or a cook out that night.

If crazy needs a spotter, I'm more then willing to give it a try

If your going to be his spotter than you can use my ghillie suit. Its the same one crazy has and it is big enough to fit you. It also provides great protection and you dont want to be running around with a t-shirt on when snipers are shooting 600fps.

Depending on the turnout we will probable go from 10am to dark on the 15th and then camp that night and possibly play on Sunday.

Remember registration needs to be done by May 8th to have a slot in the competition.  No walk ons are allowed.  Address will only be given out to registered contestants.  This is going to be a great weekend to be out and shooting.

The date for the competition has been changed to May 22/23 due to lack of supervision, relationship status, and the NRA show.  If an Admin could change the date in the title of my other thread that would be great.

Congratulations to Joshua and Cody for being the first to sign up.  We have something special for them.
