This will be an AOSC sanctioned games. There will be a few rule mods to medic rules.
Field has no exact address, so here is the location on Google Maps. Click me!
Come out for your last chance to learn the field. There will be some upcoming games where you will want to know the field.
*****NEW RULE**** Please be aware of the following rule. No exceptions will be made.
Rule #12: Game registration and chrono:
The following rule is being set into effect to help resolve the issue of games starting late.
New Rule
When you register you will be required to show a dead rag. If you do now have one you will be required to buy one for $1.
Camo Rules
No Mixed Camo. Tops and bottoms must match.
Starting July 7th Registration and chrono for all AOSC games will close at 9:30AM and will reopen after the game starts. Safety/game briefings will start at 9:35AM thus allowing the games to stay on schedule for a 10:AM start. Once the game is started registration and chrono will reopen for players arriving late, and there will be an extra 5 dollar charge.
We will be running different games throughout the day in different parts of the field.
We have a few scenarios in mind, but they will depend on the turnout. There are a few things we would like to try out here this weekend.
One scenario we will probably run regardless of the turnout if a patrol/ambush scenario. One team will be allowed to deploy into the back wooded part of the field and set, the other team will be dropped off and told to patrol to a certain area and engage target of opportunity as you patrol. This will allow one team to practice seting up ambushes, and the other team to practice patrolling, and see if they know how to properly react to an ambush.
Field fees--15.00
Chrono and Registration opens at 8:00am
Chrono closes at 9:30
Safety briefing at 9:35
Move to field 9:50-10:00
This will be strictly followed. Come to safety briefing already geared up ready to go.
**Bring Water**--This is Blue Hole
Lunch will be from 1330-1415. This is a 45 min lunch, plenty of time.
Game resumes 14:20
We are going to run 2 completely separate games before lunch and after lunch. More info soon to follow.
Medic rules.
1: We will be using the paracord system This will be explained during the briefing. Paracord will be provided. If you loose you cord on the field, you MUST purchase another for $1.00
2: Players that are shot may be moved. One hand at all times. Player doing the "drag" may fire.
1 player dragging=walking
2 players dragging=running. Both players MUST have 1 hand each on player being moved.
Remember, this is a large field, this doesn't mean that you gun is shooting as far as you think it is. This field is very depth deceptive. Come with a good attitude and ready to have fun.
Cussing at another player WILL, and I mean it, WILL get you thrown off the field. No questions asked.
