500fps limit with what weight bb?
No ammo weight restrictions, am I to assume that this also includes no restriction on ammo material?
Do sniper rifles and pistols have the same fps requirements as AEGs? Do P* and other non AEGs have the same rules as well?

Good questions all! To clarify, and I will fix it in the rules:

500 fps w/ .25's. That is far hotter than your average airsoft gun will shoot, so no reason to push it.
P*'s are limited to the same. Don't let us catch you cranking that thing up, or you will be asked to leave.
If your pistol shoots 500 fps, congrats, only 300 fps more before you hit .45 territory! But for real, everything is limited to 500 FPS.
No metal BB's, as they will tear up the targets.
You will be walked through each course prior to competition. With the exception of the shoothouse and stress shoot lane, you will then be given 10 minutes to walk the course and prepare a strategy.

Gambler, DON'T YOU PUT THAT EVIL ON ME RICKY BOBBY!

Besides, Doug made it out of here in one piece. Anything a marine can do, I can do better!

That's too bad about not being able to use metal bbs. You should see about reinforcing your targets :P

Most of the questions were on the fly, things I was curious about. Shooting competitions aren't normal games, and often times the rules are rather different. I may or may not come. Is there a pre-reg date? I didn't see one glancing through the OP.

No pre-reg date. If slots fill up before you register, you will be put on a waiting list.

Sorry about the BB's, but I'm not feeling like purchasing about 50 all metal targets just for the game. Maybe next time!

They would only be useful for the long range shooting anyway, besides, there are other useful heavy weight bbs out there that aren't metal.

I have to admit, this sounds pretty awesome. Considering the two persons hosting the event, though it's pretty unique, I have to predict it will be top notch. Will there be videos afterward?

Planning on attaching GoPro's to many shooters, as well as cameras in the shoothouse. Then putting together a sweet video to show before more events. It will certainly include all the shooters.
