TDC2-The conflict continues: read the story of TDC1 here - http://www.southcarolinaairsoft.com/php ... =29&t=3875

Remaining strong after the states split and become truly sovereign has proven to be harder than what was originally expected. Wars between states over boundaries and water rights have pushed some states into unwanted allegiances with others, and only a few remain free to govern themselves as they see fit. In the conflict two years ago between South Carolina and Georgia many lives were lost through several battles. But in the end Georgia raised there flags along the shores of the Savannah River victorious in the war.

Showing no signs of an uprising from South Carolina, security along the river separating the states has slowly loosened. Bartering and trades across the border has grown significantly, and to most it looks like the conflict has subsided. Or so it would seem. But as many have gone about there everyday busy lives there has been something else happening in the countrysides of SC. Men who fought in the Delimitation Conflict have been recruiting, training, and gathering guns and ammunition for retaliation. And slowly the state who seceded from the union around the Christmas of 1860 have built an army. There mission, to take back what they believe is rightfully theirs..... The Savannah River...

TIME:
7:00: registration and chrono open
9:30: safety briefing
10:00: game begins
02:00: lunch break
04:00: game back on.... all weapons to semi only at 7:30pm, unless you have gun shooting 300fps or lower outfitted with a tracer unit. The time is subject to change depending on what time admin deems dark for safety.
12:00: night game over
game will resume at 8:am on Sunday and will run solid through 12:pm.... There will be no call to get ready.. Both states command staff radios should be on channel 1.

CAMO:

SC - Green base - M81 BDU's, Woodland MarPat, Flecktarn, Tiger Stripe, as well as urban digi, black bdu's, real tree.

GA - Tan base - Desert MarPat, MultiCam, DCUs, DBDUs, as well as PMC, civilian, ACU. NO BLACK TOPS....

Gear does not have to match your camo.

Medic info

Designated Medics - one per five players

White cloth armbands.

May switch at HQ only.
Medics may heal one player at a time by touching any part of the person with one hand for 30 seconds.

Each player gets two field heals. After your third shot there is a three minute mandatory bleed out, at which point you must return to a respawn to get back in (if you have met your quota for heals, you still have to
wait three minutes to go back to respawn)

If a wounded player is hit again while being healed, the 30 seconds starts over. But does not count as another death.

Any player can medic drag a wounded player. One person dragging, and the wounded walks. Two people dragging, and the wounded can run.

Players who are medic dragging another player may still fire.

Ammunitions

1) support gunners(m249,m240bravos,M60) will be allowed to carry 5000 rds in mags. That would give them 2 box mags. When they are out, they will follow reloading rules.

2) snipers (bolt action only) May carry 2000 rounds, can reload on field.

3) All other weapons will be allowed 2000 rounds loaded mags.

4) All reloads must take place at HQ or a forward CAPTURED spawn point

Night Games

Players who have a gun shooting 300fps or less with a tracer unit attached will be allowed to run full auto at night, all others must remain on semi only.

Glow sticks - everyone must have one during the night portion. Green or yellow glow sticks only. Other colors will be used with admin.

Capturable Spawns

There will be several bases on the field of play with flags. If your team has possession of that base, it can be used as a forward respawn point. To capture the base you have to raise your flag on the flag pole at location.

Anti Tank

Each state will be allowed 6 AT weapons on the field at a time. So choose your guys wisely.

AT weapons must fire a semi soft projectile such as a nerf rocket, or tennis ball.

AT weapons may only be used to shoot on field vehicles, please do not shoot them at another airsofter.

One hit from a AT weapon will take out a tank, and crew.

Yes. I scrapped my plans for the GNS due to several major factors out of our control. Instead, Garrett will be doing TDC II.

I'll most likely be there; the first one was great. I want to go to RS-E, but I doubt that'll happen.

Not sure which team I'll be on this year.

Some things are out of people's control. Nothing can be done about that. Regardless, all of us will have fun that weekend, being in Newberry or Scranton :D

Since it is belt fed and the barrel can be quick-changed in the field I would say yes.
Flip side, I note that no military has yet bought it or fielded it, making me wonder if it really is little more than a curiosity/toy and not ready for the battlefield. I also question the reliability of the AR platform (gas piston or not) in general in any kind of prolonged/sustained fire situation. They generally don't like to be dirty and hot at the same time.
