In light of the events that occurred at a recent AOSC Event, disciplinary action against Player "A" has been considered and voted on by the Governing Council.
By the UNANIMOUS decision of the AOSC Governing Council, Player "A" is hereby BANNED from all AOSC games for a period no less than, but not to exceed 90 DAYS.
The specific violations that have led to this ban include: Unsportsmanlike conduct during an AOSC Event, and a physical altercation with another player.
Multiple eyewitness accounts, from Representatives of the AOSC, other players present at the event, and from Player "A", as well as Player "B" (the recipient of the attack) were taken into account. Also taken into account were certain mitigating circumstances including the actions of player "B" which, though not excusing player "A's" actions, did make them somewhat understandable under the duress; as well as the remorseful and mature actions and attitude of player "A" after the incident. Player "A" acknowledged his gross misconduct, apologized to player "B", the game host, and the AOSC as a whole almost immediately and moved to rectify the situation in a manner much appreciated by those involved. Player "B" handled the situation very well and was gracious and conciliatory. Due to these mitigating circumstances, but still bearing in mind the unacceptable behavior, the Governing Council has deemed a 90 Day ban appropriate.
