Terraria

Hey guys,

I heard you talking about MineCraft, and a quick search hinted that nobody has talked about Terraria here. The largest "downside" to the game is it being a 2d sidescroller. The graphics are not that big of a deal, limiting it to 2d is its big difference from Minecraft.

IE.

MC you feel more involved in your creations, and can do less with them. In Terraria you can create much more vast things and use them more creatively but feel much less involvment.

They are very different games and I love them both. Many people get "fanboy" for one of them. I think everyone should try both. Me and the missus have spent many an evening on either of these great games.

Some of the features I like most are the inclusion of Bosses, NPC's, The expansive crafting system. Nothing quite like digging all the way to hell to mine rare ores and fight crazy monsters just to die by a demon bunny once you get to the surface. The multiplayer is VERY easy to use, which is another plus for me.
