AOSC GDT (General Discussion Thread)
Re: AOSC GDT (General Discussion Thread)
The good news is that a lot of people have stepped up and are running for office on the platform of the realization that we MUST cut spending and taxes to survive as a nation, much less get back on track to prosperity. If the US voters wise up and elect them at all levels of government and in all branches, we can pull it together.
The basic principles of constitutional government must be re-realized if we are going to make it in the same form. I sill find it amazing that the big lib economists of academia STILL can't comprehend that a government cannot spend it's way out of a recession; but instead must cut BOTH frivolous spending (read: "giving money away to people or countries because it's not fair that they are poor") AND lower taxes across the board. THAT is what has been proven to stimulate economic advancement and opportunity. People, leftists and right-wingers included, are always lamenting that we no longer have a manufacturing economy and that we need to start producing again. Why the heck do you think we don't? Taxes and unions. American companies that want to manufacture or produce goods are not only taxed half to death, but unions force them to pay exorbitant benefits to employees and they simply can't afford it. That's why they go elsewhere (read: China and Mexico). If those two major roadblocks were lessened, we would see a major resurgence in production. Nations are like businesses. Businesses run customers off to other businesses if they have higher prices than their competition. Nations run businesses off to other countries if they have higher taxes and labor laws/unions that cost them a FORTUNE to keep employees on the payroll. We have to become a nation with a competitive tax and labor policy if we ever hope to have an economy that actually produces goods again.

Option 1: Support rebels by sending money and supplies.
Option 2: Support hopelessly corrupt and anti-US (well anti-everybody) regime by not supporting rebels.
Option 3: Nuke the whole place

Option 4: Send an elite Marine Sniper team to assassinate Quadaffi. No one has to know.
Re: AOSC GDT (General Discussion Thread)
Option 5: Do nothing because it is not worth our time or money and really isn't any of our concern. Before you say "What about oil prices?", I'll counter with the fact that we get very little from North Africa or the Middle East, and that futures would plummet over night if the federal government and environmentalist retards would get out of the way so we could start using the supply we already have in our own backyards.

We need to fix our country, before WE fix others
Re: AOSC GDT (General Discussion Thread)
In fact, not "fixing" other countries by just giving away money would be a good step towards fixing our own...

Let's start by replacing out-reach groups with 'in-reach' groups...

I was very pleased today I have never actually tested the range of my KWA I am a bad judge of distance but today I paced out about 180 feet in my yard and was hitting my target no problem. Stock KWA M4... Sorry for the bad grammar in the first sentence I am too lazy to edit it.

Doing what?
Re: AOSC GDT (General Discussion Thread)
normal yardwork and labor for his little projects. Like laying mulch
Re: AOSC GDT (General Discussion Thread)
So it's between a V3 and medium motor and a V2 and long type motor. Just bear in mind you will have to overhaul the internals on whichever one you pick to make it a great DM, so set aside several hundred more dollars for that, batteries, mags, etc.
