Snow? In the South?

Snowed in Savannah. Hasn't snowed here for real since before I was born. We've had flurries, but nothing that stayed. This snow lasted all night.

got like an half an inch here on hilton head island it all melted by noon saturday and then was 60 degrees on sunday and i plalyed golf

I measured 8" in Swansea, and it stayed for a few days, wasn't all gone for nearly a week. We played in Newberry, looked like they got more than 6", but I didn't measure. I had to go out and in several times, as my wife kept saying "Oooh! Look at the snow, let's go out and play in it!". Then she'd get cold and wet, and we'd go back in, until she did the same thing again, about every hour until 10pm. That's probably what made me so sick last week.
