You know, Laurie and I clashed a few times last year right before I left for BCT.  She said if SCAA stopped having games there it was only going to hurt us because she would still make money off of that property.  I had assumed she meant church groups and stuff coming and renting the guns, etc but now I certainly have my doubts

It was all a marketing move to make the field more authentic. I like my fields to have some credibility like McCrady.  :P   The newspaper did sensationalize the story a bit, as is expected.

The field is still open.

You could be charged for possession if someone was a passenger in your car and had drugs on them.  The courts will decide who is actually at fault.

I do not know neither did Putnam. 
I made the statement to Gabe in light of other circumstances regarding him and Laurie. He knows what I am talking about.

If we want to shed light on it, she was the first to start with the insults about my mother.  This is in regards to when we clashed 2 years ago.  She made similar comments about how I was brought up badly last year after she had Putnam tell me to move some of their broken guns to BattleCat, at which point I magically produced guns that weren't theirs.  I offered to replace the ones that fell out of my truck, but they declined.  When I brought what was left to BattleCat they said I stole the guns and switched them with something else.  After several harassing phone calls and more insults against my mother I told Chad at BattleCat to charge me for replacing what they wanted, filed for a restraining order, and never heard from her again.

I'm sure the side you heard was a bit different cantttype, but the evidence is there, and it supports my argument to be true.

Ah yeah thanks for pointing that out.  BattleCat had nothing to do with the situation other than being the destination for the delivery.  Laurie made the accusations that I was trying to steal them after she found out about them falling out of my truck.  In the end, I ended up purchasing a brand new replacement.

I think this thread has run it's course, no need to delve further into previous disputes with the field owners, or anyone else for that matter.

As it stands, the field is apparently still open, and the charges filed remain. Let's let the courts do their job. I am going to lock this thread so it doesn't get any further out of hand.
