Before airsoft

Post by Diesel » Thu Nov 26, 2009 10:18 pm

To most airsoft is a hobby, albeit an expensive one if you want it to be. But before you started playing airsoft, what did you do for a hobby.

I spent a lot of time playing softball. The better part of 3 yrs playing 4 nights a wk and then tournaments on fri, sat and sun. Now that was costly. Also spent lot of time hiking and fishing: when I wasn't playing ball
I love the Corps for those intangible possessions that cannot be issued: pride, honor, integrity, and being able to carry on the traditions for generations of warriors past.  [Cpl. Jeff Sornig, USMC; in Navy Times, November 1994]

Let's see, before airsoft. Well I was actually still doing the same stuff I am doing now. Playing in my band, on the praise team at church, and a lot of other outdoor activities.

Ran other websites, shot lots of noobs in America's Army and CS. I still do both, but I also run this site and stuff.

And stuff.

And other stuff.

Come to think of it, the only thing that has changed is that I now play airsoft every couple of weekends.
