I'm surprised I didn't see a post on this yet.
For those of you who didn't pay much attention in history class, today is Pearl Harbor Day. The day that brought the US of A into the Second World War. The day that the Japanese decided to attack Pearl Harbor without any warning. Many of our family members served in that war and many great men and women lost their lives. So let's not forget to thank them for their service to our wonderful country.

I heard that the Japanese fighter pilot who led the attack on Pearl Harbor became a Christian and became a missionary to his own people.

Do you have any facts to back that up? I find that interesting and would like to know if it is true.

I find it interesting that the Japanese intended to declare war ahead of time, but that the "declaration" essentially got lost in the mail. It's amazing what a little government bureaucracy can do with foreign policy.
On a different note, God bless all those who gave their lives that day.

Once around 1994 and again less than a year ago in Goose Creek, I saw two cars (possibly the same person, who knows) with an official South Carolina Pearl Harbor Veteran license plate. That is definitely a plate you don't see too often.

I have been to Pearl harbour and been on the memorial, and I must say, it is an awesome sight to see and visit. I recommend going and witnessing history first hand and paying your respects.

My Uncle was one of the survivors from PH. Even now he has flash backs and bad dreams. I saw a something on TBN about the pilot who led the assault, and I think it is awesome he has become a Christian and moved on with his life.
