Zelda OOT. Great storytelling, awesome soundtrack, great visuals, tons of replay value, interesting puzzles, identifiable characters, and groundbreaking game mechanics. Was, is, and always will be one of the classics in this medium.

This is a hard decision; there are so many great games out there.
If I had to choose, It would probably be Team Fortress 2; although, now that it's free, it's starting to lose some appeal. Every game has at least one ten-year-old kid, and people care more about buying hats than actually playing.
Other favorites include The Sims 2, Assassin's Creed 2, America's Army 2, Dragon Age: Origins (PC), Battlefield 2142 and Super Smash Brothers: Melee.
I may have put a Zelda game on this list if I could've ever found the time to play one all the way through. I have almost all of them (somewhere) but have never finished one.

Best game ever? Tetris. No other game has as many hours clocked as Tetris, for such an old, simple game, it's still fun to this day.
Personally? Battlefront 2 is my favorite game to date.

Rise of the Triad, Thief 2, Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, Shadowcaster, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Rogue. It's kind of hard to choose, but all of these are contenders for my "best game ever".

In terms of personal enjoyment, I think it would be a tie between Uncharted 2 and Mass Effect 1. Dragon Age also had that feeling of personal enjoyment ot a lesser degree. If I were to go off of hours spent on a game? Most likely Guild Wars would win that title, closely followed by EVE.
