I wanted to put this out. I have received the CO package for bravo. I am the CO for this OP for bravo. If you are planning on running
Bravo, please PM me with the following info.
1. Team name, if any, or unaffiliated
2. Number of players in team
3. Do you have radios.
4. Is your team (individual)  better suited as search team, defend, or attacking.
5. What, if any, are your teams(individual) strengths
6. Will you be there the whole game or just for part of it
Please let me know this info as soon as possible, so I may prepare a plan to best work with the teams that are attending
Thank you
I love the Corps for those intangible possessions that cannot be issued: pride, honor, integrity, and being able to carry on the traditions for generations of warriors past.  [Cpl. Jeff Sornig, USMC; in Navy Times, November 1994]

Mr.White wrote: OK looks like I'll be coming down for this one and may bring the guys with me. I have a couple of questions however. Are we limited on the comms. Can we run UHF/VHF Hams, CB bands or just FB type radios? Will this be a strait 24hr Milsim or just Kind like a MilSim. Will we be running RealMil type rule sets? Just trying to get feel for how me and the guys should load out. Also..is Alpa or Bravo stacked to one side..should we come prepaired to run one or both? I've been trying to get SOS down to more of the SC games and this looks like it should be a good one.
It will be a strait 24hr game, with MilSim type rules, except that hicaps will be allowed. Not sure what the team balance is yet, and you'll have to ask Garrett about the radios. There will be assigned channels for command however.

If you are a team leader and plan on running Tan, please PM me your name so I can have you add to the planning forum.
Thanks Diesel

Do we need full seal goggles for this or will the regular realmil rules (ansi shooting glasses)work here?

I'm not actually attending this game, but Diesel has asked me to laminate copies of the map on the game post.  I'm happy to do that if I get some cash for it (not that much, of course  :P).

I'd like to know how many people want, and if there is somebody to whom I could mail them to be responsible for distributing them.  Just so you have an idea: it costs me about $5 (and 1-2 hours) to laminate 20 copies of a map.

Just throwing that out there, if nobody is interested, I'll just work with Diesel and give Bravo maps  ;D
We all started doing what we love somewhere...

Just as fair warning to you guys, there is very likely going to be a MASSIVE contingent of NC players coming down to go tan. I mean massive as in we are bringing the Legion.  :P

I think you would do better to try and get all the SC guys on your side. We never get to play together and this is why we are coming down here.

Good point, in that case:

All SC players, please join the Alpha (Green) faction in order to repel the invading hordes of NC guys swarming the border! ;D

A planning forum for Alpha will be up soon.

As being bravo CO, I am really looking forward to the help from the NC teams. I know that they will play fair and honest. I also know that bravo usually looses members after lunch, so it would be nice ti have the Hard core players. So Dom, quit your whinning  lol I will take anybody that wants to be bravo, rather it be NC or SC.

That may be, but few Alpha are likely to stay past bedtime ;).

Since we have a lot of unregistered players coming to OP24, such as friends or team mates. Please take a few seconds and let us know how many and which faction they will be playing on.

Doublewolf wrote: Yeah. That would not be fun. They don't all need to be on the same team. Its not like its NC vs SC. They should go half and half. If its too bad, all force balancers could go alpha including contractor, black, urban, and ACU. It still might be unbalanced though.
The only team I know of coming down from NC is "Legion". We are planning to go tan and have 20 to 25 members.

Thought it might be nice to have a patch for the game. Waiting on a price right now, but should be close to 5 a piece. If you guys would be interested let me know. The more we get ordered, the less they will be. But I will need the cash by paypal before making the order. Will update thursday evening with price and details.
