OP24 - full 24 hour op - The Airfarm Feb 27-28
Re: OP24 - full 24 hour op - The Airfarm Feb 27-28
I might have missed this somewhere further back in the thread, but can you take anyone prisoner, or just the CO and XO?

I believe there will be some intel on what the Villagers might be wearing...
You name a game, I've been to it.
If I've banned you, then you have more than likely deserved it.
If I deleted a post it didn't need to be there or I simply didn't like it.

Yes there is. The Villagers are all X Military, therefore they have access to all types of gear. You may find one wearing tiger pants with a od shirt, and another wearing blue jeans with a black shirt. They can mix and match whatever they want. So you guys better get a good look at em... Just to clarify, we wont wear a full alpha or bravo loadout.Gambler wrote: I believe there will be some intel on what the Villagers might be wearing...

Re: OP24 - full 24 hour op - The Airfarm Feb 27-28
I'm new to SC games so I dont want to over step my bounderies but for those in charge of establishing the interigation rules of this Op i think a statement may be in order so we are all on the same page.
Milsim interigation as I'm used to it is basically about getting all the info from a detainee without touching them. The detainee is told to go to his knees and put his hands on his head. Questions like, Do you have anything in this pocket? (point to the pocket) are asked. A detainee must answer all questions honestly. Keeping it simple and avioding physical confrontation is the differance between milsim and realmil. Thats part of why Realmil in NC is invite only i think.
When the final interigation rules are in place for this op could someone please post it up so I can pass it to my guys for a practice session? Thanks.

Re: OP24 - full 24 hour op - The Airfarm Feb 27-28
[mod]Thread Cleaned to avoid confusion about player capture. [/mod]
Capture rules for OP24
Any player can be captured.
To capture a player you must shoot them, and then medic them.
When that player is medic'd back into the game, he is your hostage and must take his mag out of his gun.
If asked the player must turn over any held objective he has on his person, and give his last mission to his captor.
You can not take the captured players weapon, maps, bb's, etc.
After these questions are answered. They have to stay with the team or person that captured them, or may be released to go to respawn. However the captured player will only do what he is told. If you walk off and leave your hostage by more than 20 ft, he can run off
They can only be held for the maximum time . This time starts as soon as they are captured, or healed. CO and XO 20 min others 10 min.
Now about The Villagers
All of you should know that the Villagers are basically in game admin.
They can not win the game. And are really there to help keep the action going throughout the full 24 hours, and keep things balanced.
You can capture a Villager the same way you capture any other player.
The difference being they will try to escape. If you don't want them to escape, keep a gun on em... Simple and sweet.
There weapons will be disarmed only by asking. And if they have more than one weapon, then it is your duty to ask that it be disarmed. You can search a villager by asking specific questions. Do you have a gun here? And so on.
Just have fun guys, that is the NUMBER 1 RULE....
Sleeping & Dying
If you plan on sleeping during the game, leave your kill rags folded outside of your tent.
All a player has to do is unfold your kill rag, and leave it at the entrance to your tent. You must then go back to respawn before getting back into play.
If you have a question SHOOT ME A PM.

just to clarify, its 1600 rounds in mags at any given time, for assault rifles and sniper rifles?

1600 loaded rounds, that includes all mags for your primary, secondary, tertiary if you're that crazy.
More importantly only snipers can reload in the field, all others must reload at their base or controlled respawn point

Re: OP24 - full 24 hour op - The Airfarm Feb 27-28
Better boundary understanding.
925 Floyd Rd Newberry SC
The blue line represents a creek that runs along the back of the property. You are allowed to get into the creek, but not on the land on the other side. There is barbwire on both sides of the creek, so enter at your own risk.
The white line represents the previous boundary marked on the original map. Depending on how many players we have, it may still be in effect. We will let you know during main game briefing. The boundary on the far left, right, and front have fences, so you will not easily get lost on your map.
The red line represents a more open boundary line for larger numbers. The vegetation you see in it is a tree farm. Will make for some nasty night games, and possible close quarters type stuff. There is no fence here, but will be marked with tape.

It should be getting cut down sometime in the next week or so...it should be dealt with by gameday
Re: OP24 - full 24 hour op - The Airfarm Feb 27-28
what qualifies as a sniper? I'm looking to carry an m-14, will i be able to reload that on the fly? Does the 50ft MED make guns qualify as a sniper, or mag capacity?severed wrote: 1600 loaded rounds, that includes all mags for your primary, secondary, tertiary if you're that crazy.

Here are the rules for camping on Friday night. Anybody wishes to do so may.
1--More than welcome
2--Must pitch tent in designated area
3--There will be a fire pit. You must use this pit only.
4--Clean and police all trash.
5--NO ALCOHOL. this will get you kicked off the property. The owner is not charging for camping, so we must abide by his rules.
6--There will be electricity to charge batteries that night.
7--Can play at night if you wish, but must use common sense.
8--There is a bathroom available for people to use if the porta john is not set up.
Any violation of these few and simple rules will get you kicked off the property and excluded from the game. The owner is a deacon in his church and is a very nice and great person to get along with. Lets watch our language and be considerate of his wishes.
