Our take:  DE's brand new fully automatic M4 CQC AEG rifle is just what the Airsoft community has been looking for:  a fully automatic, compact M4 variant rifle with rail system, a perfect FPS range between 250-300 FPS for CQB, all for less than $100.

MADE by DE Arms, the package comes complete with the rifle, a tactical functioning red dot scope, a tactical flashlight, rifle strap, a 7.2v nunchuck battery and charger.  It is the NEWEST M4 CQC to hit the market, and is one of the most powerful AEGs under $70 to ever hit the market.

The all-new 2010 enhanced model from DE is the model we are shipping here at Airsoft Megastore!  This overhauled model features a reinforced gearboxf, which allows for it to made just a LITTLE bit more power while improving overall durability.  New high-strength polymer internals have been installed for maximum performance without compromising reliability, and a tighter-bore barrel allows for more accurate shots!

The rifle comes stock with a 7.2v battery, but we have tried this beast with an 8.4v battery and the results are phenomenal.  The AEG maintains composure while increasing ROF [rate of fire] another 15-25%.  If you do decide to go the 8.4v nunchuck route, we recommend the Intellect 8.4v 1600mah Nunchuck Battery for maximum performance.

Rifle Features:

- High torque motor

- Reinforced ABS internals

- Metallic inner barrel

- ABS/Polymer Composite upper and lower receiver

- Retractable rear crane stock

Rifle Specs:

Shoots at over 250-280 FPS with 0.20g bbs, 270-310 FPS with 0.12g BBs
FULL AUTOMATIC, SEMI AUTOMATIC, SAFE MODE
Fires over 600 rounds per minute on stock battery, over 750 rounds per minute on 8.4v battery
Comes with ONE (x1) Hi-Cap 220-Round Magazine

Operation:  Electric Automatic
Firing Modes:  Semi-automatic and Full-automatic; functional safety mode
Hop-up:  Adjustable
Weight:  5 pounds
Ammo type:  Seamless 0.20g or heavier (0.23g, 0.25g, 0.26g, 0.28g, etc) BBs.  For maximum performance and accuracy, Airsoft Megastore recommends GoldenBall ProSlick BBs which carry perfect spherical consistency and density, available at Airsoft Megastore for the lowest price on the market, guaranteed.
Package includes: Rifle, rechargeable battery, wall charger, instruction manual, rifle strap, 220-round hi-cap magazine, red dot scope, tactical flashlight
Battery Charger Recommendation:  Although this fully automatic airsoft rifle comes with a standard wall charger to charge the battery, Airsoft Megastore recommends the use of a smart charger to avoid overcharging the battery (overcharged batteries may cause decreased airsoft gun performance and may shorten battery life significantly).  Smart chargers not only shorten charge time significantly (up to 800% faster charging), but more importantly, also automatically shut off once the battery is fully charged to avoid overcharged batteries.

No, Double Eagle guns aren't worth touching.

If you're looking for a good solid gun to get you started, I would recommend something from JG. They're not top of the line, or even close to it, but they're good enough to get you started.

Or start taking a look at what people are selling used.  You might be able to find a great deal.

Ok. Who would be the best manufacturer to go with. Like really top of the line stuff for a reasonable price?

Right now, between $150 to $200. I can maybe swing $250.

Do you have a preference to what kind of gun you get? M4, M16, AK-whatever, etc? There are plenty of options in that price range.

SpyderTC has a really nice CA M14 for $200. You should really look at that. It is an awesome shooting gun with a good rof. He has a pic of it in Airsoft items for sale.

[mod]Good advice from all the above posters, however, this is NOT a WTB thread, this is a "Wut am bestest gunz" thread, which belongs in the General Discussion Section. Moved.[/mod]
