oh, and thanks for dragging me to safety that one time... when you asked i wasn't sure if you were going to literally drag me, then you grabbed onto the drag handle of my vest and I was like "oops i guess so, and scrambled after"

The US forces have won a great victory, and as I know the vietnamese commander to be of the absolute highest caliber, and his men to be of abnormally strong resolve; I can thusly conclude only that our victory was due to the utmost valor, tenacity, and perserverance that was shown by the fighting men and women of the US forces. I salute you, and salute our honorable foes for their impecable resistance. I thank you for the victory you have brought us on the field of battle, and commend you for the sacrifices you made to obtain it. I am honored to have been given the priviledge to command you.
