I was looking through the imfdb boards the other day, and I came across this.
Metal Gear Solid: Philanthropy Next Gen Trailer
All of the reviews I have seen say it is 10x better than anything MGS movie that Hollywood would crank out because this was made by true fans of the games. It is a little weird hearing Solid Snake with a Italian accent, but it does look really well made. Also, it was made for only $10,000.

Uhhh, the MW2 fan video was 50 times better than this. I was waiting for a good fight scene but it never happened. All the stealth in the beginning, then at the end he's just running out of the building. I guess they were running to the fail bus...

Then, the trailer didn't really pump me up to be interested if there was a whole movie
