It was a great game for my first full 24 hour game. I had fun running with Dom and the rest of G.R.A.V.E. Also Robert nice job on that tank if I didn't say it enough. That was my favorite part of the game, being in the tank gunning down the bravo fools who got in our way!  ;D

I wish more people would have come out, but mabey next time ;D

Gl guys and see you all on the field!

Had a great time this weekend. First let me get this part over.
Mojo-- Congrats. you did a fine job, nice recruiting also
Jester--look forward to coming to Ga soon and playing with you and not against you, if you don't mind a "old man" running with ya   :D
God's eagle--if I hadn't seen it I never would have believed the 8 man safety kill.
Felix, Sky--good to finally put a name to face.
And finally--Smitty, I will go to battle with you anytime, but it will cost you  ;)
On to the game

PROS:
1. great field, lots of room, trails and natural cover
2. game flow--LOT better than OP 24 I
3. very good honorable players--only had 1 non-hit calling issue the whole game
4. nice props/objectives--not too easy to find, but easy enough to spot.

CONS:
1. Having 2 separate "safety meetings" Come on. AOSC is better than this. Left alot of room for different interpretation.
2. Not having well defined boundaries I am noticing this at a lot of games lately. If they are well defined, hence NO PROBLEM
3. Lack of Bravo player showing up

OK, all I have to say is, well Bravo lost, but we had a lot of fun doing it. Had many epic moments, safety kills, comments that will ring out at every game, and just a lot of good ole fun.
Once again, this "OLD MAN" stayed up the whole time, while many young kids slept, and still haven't got any yet.  :P :P :P :P
Had a blast finally fighting against 3rd a lot this time. Good times Ian
Best part was just chillin in Apha's HQ waiting for them to come back and take it. We knew we were gonna lose, but we were going down with a heck of a fight. Loved every minute of it.
Can't wait to do it again. See ya on the field in Dec.

Bravo: This was my first Opp, and y'all it was awesome . Thank you Steevo and Korean "sorry I don't remember your name" for the help with my rifle. Y'all took time to help a new guy that really didn't have a clue about the internals of an aeg and I thank you.

I honestly think that I had as much fun off the field as I did on it. I learned some stuff and meat a lot of awesome people. And nothing beats cold chicken on the back of Diesel's truck.

To Alpha: If you don't remember me than you weren't at Bravo base this morning. CO it was fun. If you were an Alpha you probably shot me this morning.

To All:When in a situation where there is no way out just: respawn and shoot Alpha CO; respawn and throw bbs at Alpha CO; respawn and take Alpha CO with a sword; walk down the road and pick a fight with a dead Bravo and beat each other with sticks "I won"; respawn, take the Nerf battle ax and hit someone; and of course the ending to all those is GET SHOT by ALPA!!

Thanks guys.

Im too tired to go deep on this.. but I want to say, awesome field, what I would do to that place, wow..
wish more people showed, but it wasnt dull, even when not fighting, Swat and I were dealing with "some" animals or deers that really were not scared of us at all.. funny moment there, kinda like som Gods must be crazy movie.. lol.. we were being ignorant and really could've got jacked out there only armed with airsoft guns.. haha..

when we did get into fights, they were tuff.. that game was work.. I must rest before big OPS like this.. I had zero sleep, so at GAME ON, I had already been awake for 24 hours, then ran straight till 3AM, slept, went back to work at 7AM.. im dogged.. bout to burn up in a shower and crash..

Mojo, good job, Dom, good job, ending was wack but I understand the stradegy, sorry bravo we couldnt get to you till the last minute.. Garrett, as usual, Eddie all of you who put this together, you guys deserve a budget to really make your productions come to life, sorry I dont have it for you..

Diesel, thanks for the coffe man, and good to scrap a bit, I'll make sure to find you out there from now on so we can go at it, and one day we gotta roll the same team, would like to run with you.. Ghost, keep your mask on, lol.. he knows what I mean, but its all love, lol..

Hey as I type someone is letting off mad shots, Atlanta has been real crazy to night, avoided two wrecks, crazy cursing drivers, motorcycles tailgating, median on the highway was on fire, avoided some more wrecks, but finally safe.. lol.. more shots, funny the police never come, lol.. but hope noone got hit..

all in all, fun game, I hope we get to run that field again soon, much potential..

I'll be back later for some war and peace.. and sorry, no pictures, to much work..

good to see everyone, and nice to talk to friendly bravos, man Fulda makes you guys look.. never mind..

later.

Wow, can't believe I forgot about the cold chicken. Makes great field food, doesn't it?

On the subject of field boundaries: 9 times out of 10, the people shooting from "out of bounds" either don't know they are out of bounds, or aren't out of bounds. As such, that means that 9 times out of 10 the people shooting "from out of bounds" have no bad intentions whatsoever. Whining when they are shooting at you just makes you end up looking goofy in the end, and nobody walks away happy.

Glad to help out with a good game.  Sorry that I abandoned HQ early in the morning, but I had to do SOMETHING with my "faction" of 4 players.  Kudos to the bravos that came back and held it down, sorry I couldn't have been there!

I apologize to bravo for my "safety briefing" that was full of complaining and cursing.  Since this is supposed to be a kid-friendly game (for the most part  :P), I shouldn't have lost my temper.

Much of the rule confusion was my fault, as i did not have a copy of the rules with me and I had to "wing" a briefing with no help or actual reps that had been involved in the creation of the game.  I apologize to the tank crew, I really was under the impression that any gunner could be shot and killed per usual (like the hummer from the anni game) because we never did have any anti-tank weapons (the RPG never came with an air pump), and I tried to correct my mistake as soon as I could, but not everybody had radios.  I did not know that somebody was actually going to throw a TORNADO grenade INSIDE the tank.

Since they were going to be walking up and down the field all day, I still do not know why the alphas could not leave their precious HQ long enough to do a head count and proper brief, but that's all I'm going to say about that.

Let me back up with Diesel (that D*@% old marine) said about C Taylor: he DID call a safety kill on EIGHT players at one time, and scared the living crap out of them, in my opinion.  To the player which was asking "do we have to accept that?"  you were actually surrounded by 4 players (not two) who had 3 AEGs and a grenade launcher pointed at you all thinking "Pleeeeeease don't accept the safety kill!"  C Taylor did not fire a shot for about 4 hours and got 12 kills...epic.

I'm told that Dom was certain that I was hiding in the woods north of Bravo HQ when they rushed that location in the morning, and you would have certainly called me on that, as that is exactly what I had been doing during the day when HQ was under siege.  Thank you, Diesel, for talking me out of it.  Sorry you had to put up with all my bi$%&ing about how cold I felt and how crappy your coffee was (no matter how effective it was) while we were sneaking around.

I have no doubt that we lost point-wise, but despite the fact that we were so few, every Bravo player stepped up to the challenge and pulled his weight.  Our only true objective was to make alpha fight for every inch of space we were forced to give, and I must say that I am dang proud of how we did.

BlackGhost, go ahead and post on this thread, as you need a +1 for the comment "it would make your mouth hurt."  ...he knows what I'm talking about  :P

EDIT:  Smoke needs to post to get a +1, but BG needs to post, too.

Actually Smitty, it was Smoke that made that comment.

My revolving grenade launcher did not work too well (dang dust got into everything and made my 'nades fail too often).

Also, nobody was interested in renting guns, but I guess it's difficult for that to work at a 24 hour game.  I'm sure I'll do better when people's guns start breaking before lunch  ;D

OK I broke down the points by the timeline as best as I could.
At 1500 hrs Sat Bravo was leading by 150 points
At 1930 hrs Sat Bravo was still ahead by 50 points
AT 300 hrs Sun ALpha pulled ahead by 300 points
Alpha finished the game 420 points ahead of Bravo

I personally had a lot of fun out there. Met some new guys, shot some new guys, and rolled with some teams I had not yet had the honor to meet.

Smitty and Mojo both did a great job, and I think they deserve mad props for stepping up to the plate here. I tried to design the game to keep you guys on your toes as much as possible. Smitty, thanks for hanging in there when a major part of your team split, and left you holding the ball. Shame on you Bravo. lol... Alpha, great job. I saw some really great teams rollin green this weekend who had there stuff together. Taking orders to sit in the woods and watch a spawn at 3am with no action is not fun, but you guys fallowed orders. And that says something about your teams.

Iron Fox, we had a blast playing with you guys. It seems like we always ended up together, and I for one had no problem with that.

Diesel, I don't care how old you are, I will fight with you any day. You told me you would shoot me if I came after you and you weren't lying. Good job man.
