Operation Viper - Dec 4th

A team of US Special Operations forces has been been compromised behind enemy lines while on a recom mission.  They have called for immediate extract due to them finding themselves accidentally in a Taliban stronghold.  A rescue team has been formed, but will have to travel over land to try to link up with the SF team.  Satellite coverage of the area cannot pinpoint the SF team due to the area being in a forested area.  They have detected a large number of Taliban and Al-Quida forces in the area.

This will be a little different game than most.  The SOF team has 1 objective to get out of enemy territory safely.  This is going to be tough, because they will be outmanned, outgunned, and have a limited amount of ammo.  They can't afford to get into a prolonged firefight.  They will have to use stealth, teamwork and tactics if they hope to make it out.

The insurgents will have 1 objective.  Kill or capture the Americans.

This scenario will probably end up being run at least a couple of times during the day, so there will be opportunities for you to get a chance at the SOF team even if you are not selected origionally.

There will be no set uniforms for this game.  The SOF team is going to have 8 players.  The rescue team will have either 8 or 16 depending on total numbers at the game.  I am going to try to make sure that the SOF team at least looks close with the camo they are wearing, but that's not a promise.  You will have to learn to ID your targets here.  If you are not on the SOF team orgionally I would encourage you to wear a mix of camo and civillian clothes or just civvies, even a man dress if you have one(Oh yeah, Dom's not coming nevermind), and bring camo to change into after the first run.  The SOF team  and US forces will be in uniform though.

Another twist that I am going to add into the game is right before the game a few insurgents are going to be picks to help out the SOF team if they find them first.  They will no know each other and the SOF team will not know them, so they will have to figure out a way to get close to the team and not get shot in order to help them.

Medics
SOF/US Rescue force - They will get 4 medics in the 8 man team and are allowed to be healed twice.  If they are hit a 3rd time they are out of the game.  If you are unable to get healed by a medic in 3 minutes you are dead.

Insurgents - No Medics.  You get shot, you have a 3 minute bleedout and then you go back to HQ to respawn.  The US forces are going to be severely outnumbered and need something to give them a chance)

More details will be posted this coming weekend. If you would like to have your team as one of the BHD teams behind enemy lines shoot me a PM..

You name a game, I've been to it.

If I've banned you, then you have more than likely deserved it.

If I deleted a post it didn't need to be there or I simply didn't like it.

Methinks I might be able to make this one.

Chef, I haven`t seen you in nothing but Alpha. Why ask this. Have you converted to the Dark Side.
