From what I understand, KWA did take care of it immediately in the cases mentioned.

"The Kwa 2GX also unofficially ran a M180 spring"

http://www.kwausa.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2897&st=0&p=24996&hl=m180&fromsearch=1&#entry24996

Apparently it happened, but that doesn't say it was a stock gearbox. Dom's point about a motor simply not being able to do it is very true.

Did you find the one about the gearbox being rated for a 150 spring and it being the same EXCACT internals as the law enforcment....since that is what most of this was about anyways.....

That's from 2008... completely different gearbox than is used today. Now the internals are classified... why bother classifying them if they're the same?

Completely different wasn't the best choice of words. I read that review the day it came out. It's not so much a completely new gearbox as a vastly improved gearbox.

There are certainly people who have had good luck running KWA gearboxes on heavy springs, but for every report of a solid gun I see another with a cracked gearbox, stripped piston, or shredded gears (on other forums).

When it comes down to it, it's all left up to your judgement. There are people who have run M150s successfully, and people who haven't. If you're going to have to replace the parts anyway, you might as well just run it till it breaks. If you are one of the lucky ones and it doesn't break, you haven't spent any additional money. If you're one of the numerous other people who have issues, you won't really spend much more than if you did the upgrades now.

Just getting caught up on this thread.  I've had 2 KWA with bucking issues.  The SR10 and SR 5.  I also had a former teammate with an SR12 and a current teammate with an SR7 and all of these guns have had bucking issues.  I even send the SR10 back to KWA where the tech there, to my extreme disappointment said he didn't see anything wrong with how the gun shot, even though with the hop up all the way up the bbs would still go down.  If KWA says they don't have a problem with their buckings then they are full of crap.  I'm gald you haven't run into any issues with it, but I've talked to a lot of people who have had issues with them.

You name a game, I've been to it.

If I've banned you, then you have more than likely deserved it.

If I deleted a post it didn't need to be there or I simply didn't like it.

What type buckings are you using now?  Also if you dont mind me asking was this problem straight out of the box.?  And did you clean the bucking and barrel before using?  Thanks for any info
