Re: M8
True, but their other ones are merely their crappy LPEG bodies with crappy MPEG internals if I'm not mistaken, so I definitely concur with the SRC or KWA recommendations.

Re: M8
That's what I decided. I'm going with the SRC. Not going to get it 'til April but that atleast gives me a lot of time to think about what i should to put in it.

I had the GWS XM-8 conversion G36 conversion kit for a while. I was wanting a different look than everyone else who had a G36C. The kit was nice but I already had the G36 to mod.
If you look at the sides of the handguard, there's a series of circles above the grip. On the real steel version this is where the rails are tapped and added so that's what I did. I thought it was one of the most ergonomic AEGs I've ran. The trigger guard mag release was a nice feature.

Re: M8
I was thinking about puting rails on it but I'm having second thoughts. I think the most I will do with it is maybe drop in a 115 spring, a tightbore, new hop up if needed, and maybe a suppressor.

Re: M8
Ok, so I found this on evike:
http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_44_229&products_id=30449
I asume it is $80 less mainly because it doesn't come with a battery or charger, not because it isn't a gen3?

Re: M8
The model numbers don't match up so I say that's at Evike is a Gen 2. Already looked into that.

Considering how they have spring pistols listed as sniper rifles (maybe to increase search hits?) I can't help but QFT the above post.SteevoLS wrote: I'd give Evike's descriptions about as much credence as a grasshopper on weed, but that doesn't look half bad.

I like one of the listed CONs of the gun in a customer review. "-red dot isnt red dot, just a blurry piece of plastic w/ dot on it".Gabe wrote: Considering how they have spring pistols listed as sniper rifles (maybe to increase search hits?) I can't help but QFT the above post.

Going back to earlier posts about BE M8's, I happened across this at the Airsplat website under the junk section. http://www.airsplat.com/Categories/SCRAP-YARD.htm
I thought there were more BE Xm8's than is listed currently, either I was mistaken, or people have been buying the junkers. Take a look at the section after christmas and see how many more they have with broken hop-ups. It might make you feel better about passing it up.
